1/03/19 BREAKING THROUGH THE LIMITATIONS

HEARD AND SAW

A built in wall.  You had to overcome that.  You are an amazing daughter.  You have overcome so much sweetone.  All of these years. 

Death was swallowed up in victory.  You broke through sweetone.  I am here to tell you that.  What you didn’t know.  Trauma.  You overcame it.  You aren’t the same person you once were.  How you feel.  Different, yes.  Its because you gave it to Me.  I took it and carried you to another place. 

1 Corinthians 15:54-58 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

1/02/19 BREAKING THROUGH THE LIMITATIONS

I saw a form of a man underneath the water.  He was swimming upwards and literally burst through the top just like a whale does.  Water droplets were bursting out all over into the air like a fireworks show of water.  Immediately I thought of the scripture where the term BREAKTHROUGH comes.  I heard, yes it’s the breach of waters.  Breaking through the limitations. It’s a GO. 

2 Samuel 5:20 And David came to Baal-perazim, and David struck them there, and said, The LORD has broken forth upon my enemies before me, as the breakthrough of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place Baal-perazim.

WORD TO PONDER:  BREAKING THROUGH THE LIMITATIONS  1/03/19

Dear hearts, when you have suffered trauma in your past, you built walls of protection around your hearts in order to cope.  I allowed those to remain until you felt safe enough to allow Me access to change you.  Self-preservation is a powerful weapon for survival’s sake.  Sometimes the walls of self-preservation are so thick that it keeps you from hearing and seeing the truth.  Will you grant Me access to remove the hardened, self protecting scar tissue?  I want access into you just as much as you want access into Me.  I love you so dear one and understand all that you have overcome.

Romans 8:35-39 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For your sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

COMMENTS:  OVERCOMING TRAUMA

This month the Lord has been giving me Words about finally overcoming the remains of trauma that has caused all kinds of problems in our lives.  I believe this is one of His themes for 2019 i- we will be facing it head on and letting Him purge trauma from our souls.  He will be taking us through circumstances that will cause us to have to face these giants that have hindered our lives. 

Trauma comes from the shock of being hurt when we didn’t expect it.  After the hurt, sometimes people suffer trauma when certain trigger points are touched through life events, conversations, memories, dreams, etc.  They may not understand why they have such an emotional reaction when triggered, because they don’t know when the original trauma took place. 

I remember several years ago when I attended an out of town conference, when I was in the prayer line the person on the ministry team person saw me covered in polka dots.  I knew they were trigger points of past trauma.  Another time I went to a healing conference and the ministry person asked me, Have you ever had points of trauma in your life?  I literally burst out laughing.  I could not remember when there was NOT trauma.  Both of these instances helped me identify some issues in my life and helped me see that the Lord wanted me delivered from trauma.  However I was not healed or delivered from the trauma during those times of ministry.  Rather, I had to walk it out one step at a time with the Lord.

It was 2017 when the Lord started emphasizing the parable of David and Goliath.  That year also happened to be the time when North Korea was threatening and so bombastic with words.  He has strongly quickened to me the concept of going after that which threatens us the most to take us down.  For me, He has asked me to be willing to face trauma head on so that it can no longer hold me back in my level of faith.
