A GREATER COMMITMENT IN THE FEAR OF THE LORD

Psalms 112:1  NKJV

Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments.

All year long the Lord has been relentlessly calling our hearts for a greater commitment in death to self.  He has been asking us to count the cost and then make a choice.  I have consider these things deeply all year.  In context, He has been saying this will give us access to walk in the power of the age which has now come.  (Heb 6:5)

To walk in the fear of the Lord is to honor God's Word, which is very clear as to what are  unrighteous choices, motives and thoughts and what is holy.  From now on, there is going to be a greater distinction between those who are committed and sold out to God in obedience to scripture and those who are not walking in obedience.  This year the righteous will be blessed and begin a recovery process of what has been stolen.  The wicked's plans will perish.  Those in between will be disciplined in the fear of the Lord and warned as they see a direct correspondence between cause and effect - their choices and results.  We must understand that to be friends with the world is to be an enemy with God.  When we disobey scripture, the devil has a legal right to take what we have and put us into captivity.
