HEARD:  What is the joy of your salvation?  Share.

Ps 51:9-13 NKJV

Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.  Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.  Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.  Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.  Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You.

HEARD SONGHe looked beyond my fault and saw my need.

HE LOOKED BEYOND MY FAULTS
Words & by Dottie Rambo

Amazing grace will always be my song of praise
For it was grace that brought me liberty.
I can not know just why He came to love me so;
He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary
To view the cross where Jesus died for me.
How marvelous that grace that caught my falling soul;
He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary
To view the cross where Jesus died for me.
How marvelous that grace that caught my falling soul;
He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.

WORD TO PONDER:  Renewing the Joy of your Salvation   5/02/10

Precious one, how often you fall into self condemnation.  Consider the sins of David, who used his authority to gratify the sins of his flesh.  He coveted, committed adultery, conceived a child out of wedlock and murdered to cover it.  David was My son, a man after My own heart.  And yes I seriously disciplined him and he suffered much sorrow and emotional loss due to his folly.  Yet after his repentance and time of chastisement, I turned My face towards him once again and renewed his joy.  If I forgave David and honored him with the fulfillment of My promises, surely I can forgive and renew you, My precious one.

Accept your times of discipline and when I say your prison doors are opened and you may go free, rejoice!  The joy of your deliverance is loosed for I have looked beyond your faults and saw your needs.

Ps 21:1-2 NKJV

The king shall have joy in Your strength, O LORD; and in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!  You have given him his heart's desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips.
