2/02/17 BOWING LOW – WALKING IN HUMILITY
IMPRESSION:
I had a sudden impression that a white horse
suddenly arrived in our room. As I pondered this horse with
my eyes closed and waiting upon the Lord I got a flash
impression of Him putting His legs out and extending His
head so He is bowing quite low beside me.
These were not visions that I saw on the screen of my eyes,
but impressions that suddenly came to me as though recalling
something to mind, but it wasn’t something I chose to
recall. It was Holy Spirit prompted and a surprise.
Perceptions, impressions, inklings are not day dreams. We
don’t make them up in our mind like deciding to imagine
something. Rather as we wait upon the Lord and ask for the
mind of Christ, we empty ourselves of our own thoughts. It
is like having a blank canvas before the Lord and He brings
the message TO us and not THROUGH us. Just like the other
ways God speaks in hearing and seeing, it is a surprise and
not created by us or our choice. It is very easy to
decipher what is soul and what is spirit by simply knowing
it is a sudden surprise to us and not something we chose to
think.
APPLICATION: I know that angels, creatures and
creation often pantomime or represent God’s message through
their demeanor and even dress. I sensed my white horse was
doing the same. He is showing me the Lord’s Word
instead of telling me.
I was reminded of the past visions that both Jill Austin and
Bobby Conner had about keeping one’s head low so that it
didn’t get chopped off. This is about walking in high and
lofty hearts or humble and teachable hearts before the Lord
and people.
WORD TO PONDER:
WALKING IN A MANTLE OF HUMILITY 2/02/17
Dear heart, learn to bow low before Me and before others.
Remain humble with a teachable spirit. You can learn from
the least of My creation if you are humble enough to
receive. Humility is the opposite of defending yourself or
your opinions. When you have a humble heart you aren’t
thinking about how you appear before others, you are
thinking about loving them and reaching out to help. You
are honoring them as a valuable vessel that has a part of Me
inside. Learn to listen to My voice through them and no
longer walk in independence.
Proverbs 1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase
learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise
counsels:
2/03/17 CONFIRMATION CONVERSATION
WITH WAYNE - HUMILITY
Wayne and I had a conversation about our remembrance of Rick
Joyner’s drab mantle of humility in his Final Quest trilogy
books. He was warned not to take it off but he took it
off. He was told what he could have learned up there,
instead his enemies would teach him. That was a very stern
warning for each of us to heed.

MANTLE OF HUMILITY

I looked in the direction he was pointing, but had to shield
my eyes from the glory emanating from my own armor to see
anything. Then I caught a glimpse of some movement in a
small valley. I could not make out what I was seeing because
the glory shining from my armor made it difficult to see
into the darkness. I asked Wisdom if there was something
that I could cover my armor with so I could see. He then
gave me a very plain mantle to put on.
“What is this?” I inquired, a little insulted by its
drabness.
“Humility,” said Wisdom. “You will not be able to see very
well without it.”
Reluctantly I put it on, and immediately I saw many things
that I could not see before. …I looked at my mantle. It
looked so plain and insignificant. I felt that it made me
look more like a homeless person than a warrior.
QUOTES FROM THE CALL – TAKING OFF
THE MANTLE OF HUMILITY

I looked down at the cloak of humility to which he was
pointing. In all of the glory I was now seeing, its drabness
seemed multiplied. I was appalled that I looked so bad while
standing in their presence. I drew it back to see the armor
under it, which was now more brilliant than I had seen it
before. It was so brilliant that the more I uncovered it,
the more the group in front of me faded because of its
brightness. However, I was feeling far less embarrassed with
the brightness of my armor shining out. I then decided to
take the cloak all of the way off while I was there so I
would at least not feel as repulsive in the presence of so
much glory.
To my shock, when I spoke no one answered. I stood quietly
for a few moments. I could not see anything because of the
brightness of my own armor. I did not understand why I could
not hear anything either. I then called out for Wisdom.
Put your cloak back on,” I heard Him reply. I did as He said
and began to dimly see the outline of the Great Hall again.
“Lord, what happened to everyone? Why is everything so dim
again?”
“You can see nothing here without wearing that cloak.”
“But I have it on now, and I still cannot see very well,” I
protested, feeling a terrible desperation.
“Every time you take off humility, you will be blinded to
the true light, and it will take time for you to be able to
see it again.”
“I do not do this to punish you, but to help you get your
vision back more quickly. I
will give you the message that I was going to give you
through these witnesses, but it must now be given through
your enemies. It will come with trials, and you will have to
bow very low to receive it. This is the only way that you
will get your vision back as quickly as you will need it.
For what is coming, you must be able to see.”
