OPEN UP, TINY LIGHT! 8/31/09
Today I was pondering a vision about a man who saw a
soul with zero light within him come to the gates of
heaven. Because his life was filled with darkness, that
very darkness was repelled at God’s light. The person
had no light in him and therefore was automatically
thrown back from the gate of heaven. At the same time
hell opened up and immediately swallowed him.
As I thought about it, I remembered that God put a
dividing line and separated light from darkness and
light dispels darkness causing darkness to flee.
Gen 1:4 NKJV
And God saw the light, that it was good; and God
divided the light from the darkness.
1 Thess 5:5 NKJV
You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are
not of the night nor of darkness.
John 8:12 NKJV
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the
light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in
darkness, but have the light of life."
1 John 1:5-6 NKJV
This is the message which we have heard from Him and
declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no
darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with
Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice
the truth.
I saw a similar principle working in those who have just
a tiny little light within them. I have found that when
trying to minister to someone with just a tiny amount of
light in them, that the darkness within them keeps them
from receiving a large volume of light in the form of
revelations and truth. The very darkness within them
repels the truth. The capacity to receive spiritual
truths remains within their own willingness, mindsets
and light they have allowed.
I have heard several testimonies of those who have gone
to heaven and come back saying that while we are on
earth, we each get as close to God as we want. And once
we die, we are very satisfied with our places in heaven,
because it matches our limits and capacities for Him
that we developed on earth.
I have pondered this principle many times and I believe
that our time on earth is spent with Jesus knocking on
our doors. He is constantly asking for more of us, and
if we open ourselves up to His knock about a specific
truth, then He moves on to knock in another place. I
have seen that when we ignore His knock, that He
continues to knock on that place until He knows we are
truly convinced and set that we do not want Him to knock
in that place ever again. And then He will no longer
knock in that place. There are some places in our lives
that are pivoting points where He can not take us any
farther in our walk with Him until He has specific doors
opened in our hearts. With some people, He may spend
their whole lives with Him knocking on the same door,
only for them to say no. If the person has someone
praying for them, the Lord will continue to knock until
their very last breath.
Mark 4:24-25 NKJV
Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you
use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear,
more will be given. For whoever has, to him more will
be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has
will be taken away from him.
1 Cor 2:11-3:3 NKJV
For what man knows the things of a man except the
spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows
the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we
have received, not the spirit of the world, but the
Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things
that have been freely given to us by God. 13 These
things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom
teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing
spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man
does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for
they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is
spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly
judged by no one. 16 For "who has known the mind of the
LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of

brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people
but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you
with milk and not with solid food; for until now you
were not able to receive it, and even now you are still
not able; 3 for you are still carnal.

“...This time He showed me a group of His own people
upon whom He has poured His love but who seemed to show
very little development. Although they were not those
who had grown and developed in Him, yet they were not
infants either. I saw that He was with them but they
hardly knew it.
It seemed that He had covered His parts so that He would
not be visible to them. Almost all of His visible parts
He had covered entirely so that His glory was not
shining through. Never the less I saw that He had left
open one tiny hole in all of His coverings by which He
covered Himself. And, through this tiny opening a few
rays of His glory were visible so that they could see
Him and know in a measure Who He was.
Through this small bit of revelation that was given to
them, they were required to develop and grow. At that
time they were not able ot receive any more of His light
and glory for they were too small in their growth and it
would have harmed them. So, He had covered Himself from
them, not in anger but in love. Yet, He had given them
sufficient light in which to develop and grow.
As they utilized the small revelation and light that
came to them and developed their capacities and
abilities to receive more, then He could open wider His
coverings and make greater His revelation and thus He
could eventually bring them into a fullness of the
revelation and knowledge of Himself.”

“...He took me away to another place where there were
some of His people who were not very far advanced in
Him. Very small in their growth and very
underdeveloped, these smaller sons of light were praying
and asking Him for all sorts of things. But they did
not know Him very well at all. In fact, they did not
know Him well enough to know how to ask for that which
they were requesting. Although they were His own ones
and His love was upon them, yet their knowledge of Him
was very limited.
I saw Him pour out His blessing upon them but He did not
pour them out as He did upon others of His own. It
seemed that He poured out His blessing in small drops as
it were because they could not receive any more at a
time. Being too underdeveloped to be able to receive
any more of His blessings than what He carefully
measured out to them in drops.
He did what He could for them in order that they might
grow and develop, desiring to prepare them so that they
would be able to come to know Him in truth and receive
more of Him.”

Temper the
flow 11/11/07
PIPE PARABLE: A couple years ago I had a rude
awakening when I went out to get our mail. The entire
street was flooded. Water was backed up for several
streets and people were not allowed to drive to their
homes, but had to park several blocks away as the water
was going up the driveways.
As it turned out, when my husband put in the culvert
through the subdivision, it was a large one to code and
it handled all the rain drainage from the neighborhood.
However since that time there were 3 houses down from us
that were not a part of the subdivision, and at
different times they had independently connected
themselves to the pipe. The first house put in a
slightly smaller pipe, and then the one next to it
connected with an even smaller one. The last house put
in a 6 inch pipe and all of the watershed from the
neighborhood was trying to get through!
Evidently when they put it in, besides not doing it
according to code, they also drove on the ground on top
of it and crushed the pipe beneath. When the maintenance
crew came, they found the problem and ripped the whole
thing out of their back yard and finally everyone's
water receded.
CONFIRMATION ABOUT LIGHT 8/25/09
Last night I was thinking about that man’s vision of
seeing the person with no light within him bouncing off
heaven’s doors into hell.
2 Cor 4:6 NKJV
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of
darkness , who has shone in our hearts to give the light
of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of
Jesus Christ.

HEARD: Courage.
Dear Lord,
In this great darkness, we need courage and hope to face
our future. As we look at the days spread out before
us, we cannot see past the boundaries of the light we
have in ourselves. Yes, we each have Your light within
us - but the degree we live in Your light, is the same
degree that our light shines on the path before us.
Grant that we will live and walk in Your light in ever
increasing portions so that we may have hope to see our
future. In Jesus Name.

His own special people, that you may proclaim the
praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His
marvelous light.
Eph 5:8-13 NKJV
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in
the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of
the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and
truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And
have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of
darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful
even to speak of those things which are done by them in
secret. But all things that are exposed are made
manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is
light.
CONFIRMATION: I picked up our grandson to spend
the day with us, and I noticed he had on his first pair
of tennis shoes. He has always worn those soft moccasin
shoes to learn to walk, and this was his first pair of
stiff shoes. I didn’t know they held a precious
secret! I noticed he was leaning way over in his car
seat and took off one shoe. “Light! Light! Light” He
was pointing to his shoe and low and behold he had 2
lights on each shoe! Today, when he walked down the
hallway he was running and pounding his feet really
hard, saying, “Light, light, light!” Thank You Lord for
such a wonderful revelation and precious
confirmation.
