LAZARUS’ FEET

VISION

In the early 80’s Grandma Anna saw my beloved Wayne stretched out in a tomb wrapped like a mummy. He began to spin and the grave cloths spun off of him. The spinning started slowly at first, then faster and faster. When he stood up he was very big.

In 1985 I was earnestly praying over My beloved’s health and I heard the Lord say to me, "I shall raise him up." That same morning when we went to a church of about 1,200 people, there was a Word of Knowledge for one man in the audience. He described this man in the exact circumstances of My sweetheart, and also my prayers of that morning. My mouth hung open and I was covered in goose bumps. At the end of the prophesy, he said, "The Lord says, I shall raise you up!" Back then little did I know how long I would have to wait for that to come to pass. Neither did I understand that it was a Word for an entire company of people in the same place, all representing the story of Lazarus.

A WORD TO PONDER GIVEN ON 9/5/91: DELAY

You have suffered the pain of delay. You have wept and I have wept. I cried at Lazarus’ tomb. I cry at yours. Like Mary and Martha, you turned to Me - your only trust, your only hope, your only God. I wasn’t just your God Who delivers, you trusted Me as your Friend. Is it any wonder I cry at your tomb?

I have suffered every ache in your heart as you have died the slow death of disappointment. I have grieved over the death of My Beloved.

I was so proud of you. You, who knew no thought of war, of evil confrontation. I taught you to stand, and you stood valiantly. My beloved, My courageous one, you believed Me. You trusted Me explicitly. You followed Me wholeheartedly through the battlefield. I was so proud of you. How can I reach you, when you lie in the tomb of disappointment? I weep for you.

I will defend My beloved. The enemy has no victory. I allowed the delay. Did I not say if you would believe, you would see the glory of God? Is anything too hard for your God? Would you trust Me to be your Friend, though you lie in the coldness of the tomb? Listen for My voice. I will call and there shall be a mighty resurrection.

All that was taken shall be restored to you. There will be nothing lost. And you shall live to see the glory of God. You will not only see My glory, you will live in it. Weep no more My beloved. For soon I AM coming with vengeance upon the enemy tactics. You shall enjoy the spoils of war. Your reward is coming.

Think not that I AM a God of disappointment. I AM coming with healing in My wings. When My voice calls, I will raise you up.

One day as I was studying the story of Lazarus and I was thinking about my Beloved, I realized that this was not only our story, but also the story of many like him. LAZARUS IS HIS CHURCH - HIS FEET ARE THE LAST TO BE UNWRAPPED

CONFIRMATION VISION

A dear friend, prophetic seer and intercessor, sent me his vision of Lazarus. The Lord told him that Lazarus represented His church.

… "The Lord asked me to lay down upon His stone, and as I did I realized that He was beginning to unwrap my grave clothes. I had not noticed that I even had any until then, and they were neither pretty nor of linen, but rather like the wrapping of a mummy from Egypt.

In a day or so later the vision continued. I stood before Him again in the tomb, standing above the stone, without my feet touching it. He told me that I was like His church; wrapped in the grave cloth like a mummy, representing the works of the enemy. I knew He was going to unwrap my grave clothes.

He began to unwrap them at my head [first my brain] so I could think; then my eyes until I could see; my ears to hear; only then my mouth so I could speak; until my heart was uncovered; only then did my arms and hands become free from their bondage to my body, then finally my legs and at last my feet so that I could walk.

There was great significance in the sequence of unwrapping, which was made clear to me without Him saying a word. His first words were like, first things first, then, "Shake it off!" He was the only One able to unwrap my grave clothes; He had to uncover enough [brain, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, and heart] so that my hands were finally free to truly participate by His Spirit. . . . . until finally, my feet were free to go. He seemed to be saying to me that I have to learn to rest in between, in Him, while He does His work in me. The last thing I can do, in Him, is to move around (freely) to do His bidding. His love first, then His power…"

WORD TO PONDER: THE FEET OF LAZARUS

My precious one, how long you have waited for the fulfillment of My promise that I shall raise up your loved one! And now you understand that this was much more than the raising of one person. Much time has passed on earth, and great warfare has taken place in the heavenlies. I alone have held the sands of time and even as the story of Lazarus, this massive raising is for My glory!

Now My people will have hope and understanding as they witness the grave clothes unravel. Watch the process unfold before your very eyes. And yes, the last to go will be the shackled feet. They are restrained so that when these feet are sent, they will not only represent Me the Healer, but represent a healed people. I shall raise them up before I send them. I shall unshackle your own feet and you too will be sent.
