The answers are in scripture and they go deep into WHO God
is.
First of all this who God describes Himself:
Jeremiah 9:24 But let him that glories glory in this,
that he understands and knows me, that I am the LORD who
exercises lovingkindness, justice, and righteousness, in the
earth: for in these things I delight, says the LORD.
Second of all, when He created man, He gave us a job, to
have dominion over the earth. And in the end, those who
destroy the earth will be destroyed.
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto
them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and
subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that
moves upon the earth.
Psalm 115:16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's:
but the earth has he given
to the children of men.
Revelation 11:18 And the nations were angry, and your
wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be
judged, and that you should give reward unto your servants
the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear your
name, small and great; and should destroy them who destroy
the earth.
God is love. Love cannot be taken, it can only be given.
Therefore God created men and angels with free will. Before
we were created, there was a war in heaven when satan and
1/3 of the angels were cast out of heaven. The Lord could
have banned satan from the earth when he was thrown out of
heaven. But He didn’t. He allowed satan to test Adam and
Eve to evaluate their own free will. It has been so since
then, until the day satan is bound for 1,000 years during
the millennium. During that peaceful time there will be no
demonic testing and a people will know the Lord. However at
the end of that period, they too will have their free will
tested. WHY???
Revelation 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and
shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive
the nations no more, till the thousand years should be
fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little while.
Because God created angels and mankind with an everlasting
soul. Once they are created, they will never die. There
are only 2 places for those souls to go – heaven or hell.
Scripture says that hell was created for satan and his
angels. And because they hate God so much, they are doing
all they can to bring as many souls with them to hell.
Matthew 10:28 And fear not them who kill the body, but
are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is
able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
And because God is love and only wants a family of love, He
doesn’t want eternity polluted with evil. He wanted His
family to dwell with Him forever without evil. Earth is our
school, to learn about Him, take tests about what we learn,
and to grow up in His love and the full measure of Jesus
Christ where we too will rule and reign.
Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the
faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a
perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness
of Christ:
Throughout the entire Bible it says He listens, protects and
delivers the righteous from evil on the earth. In Job’s
life we see that the only way evil could touch his life was
to ask permission. He ALLOWED Job to be tested. He builds
a hedge around the righteous. However due to our own sin,
our hedges get holes. If we cross the line and reject God’s
Word enough, He takes His favor and hand away where the
enemy is allowed to plunder. This is what has happened to
the USA and why He has called so many righteous intercessor
to stand in the gap and build a wall to fill the hole.
Outside of one’s hedge being broken, there are many reasons
why God allows evil to take place.
Overcoming evil: (We have a part to play in the final war
towards taking satan to the pit.)
Revelation 12:10-11 And I heard a loud voice saying in
heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom
of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of
our brethren is cast down, who accused them before our God
day and night. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the
Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not
their lives unto death.
Righteousness (rightful living) causes persecution.
Godliness causes persecution.
Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they who are persecuted for
righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in
Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
Because the evil angels are everlasting, God DOES use them,
since they are there and since He has ultimate power over
them. It is like a divine chess game. He uses them to
release judgement upon people and the earth and to bring
about a separation of those who will serve Him vs those who
will serve satan.
1 Kings 22:19-22 And he said, Hear you therefore the word
of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all
the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on
his left. 20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab,
that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one said on
this manner, and another said on that manner. 21 And there
came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I
will persuade him. 22 And the LORD said unto him, By what
means? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying
spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, You
shall persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
