7/02/19 HE WILL GUARD WHAT YOU HAVE COMMITTED TO HIM

HEARD AND SAW:

She’s trying to turn a corner.  I saw someone trying to open 2 giant double doors.  Just as their hand was on the knob, I heard you forgot something.

Psalm 37:4-5 Delight yourself also in the LORD; and he shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

I KNOW WHOM I HAVE BELIEVED IN

I woke to this chorus and it came to me off and on this morning:

Refrain:
But “I know Whom I have believed,
And am persuaded that He is able
To keep that which I’ve committed
Unto Him against that day.”

2 Timothy 1:8-12

8 Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9 Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: 11 For which I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. 12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

YOUNGS LITERAL TRANSLATION:

2 Timothy 1:8 therefore thou mayest not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner, but do thou suffer evil along with the good news according to the power of God,

2 Timothy 1:12 for which cause also these things I suffer, but I am not ashamed, for I have known in whom I have believed, and have been persuaded that he is able that which I have committed to him to guard--to that day.

WORD TO PONDER:  COMMIT YOUR PATH AND DIRECTION 7/02/19

Precious ones I guard everything You commit to Me.  I carefully watch over and preserve these things because you gave them into My care.  Yes your hardships are very real amid the evil day because My enemy has become your enemy when you entered into partnership with Me.

Remember to commit the direction of your path to Me, so that I will guard you and keep you from taking a wrong course.  When it comes to a change in direction, or turning a corner, try not to change anything in your own power and always wait when you are unsure.  I will make provision for your need for guidance and equipping to change your course.  Allow Me to be at the helm and then all you have to do is follow.  As you learn to cast your burdens upon Me, I will sustain you and not allow you to be moved off course.

Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never permit the righteous to be moved.
