RHEMA 10/01/09  HALTING BETWEEN 2 OPINIONS

HEARD:  Let us begin.  Test Me.

DAY DREAM:  I used to love swinging as a child.  I was in bed and had a day dream where I was swinging on a rope between 2 trees.  I imagined Jesus pushing my swing.  Then I decided I was tired and wanted to stop swinging.

HEARD:  You landed on your feet.  My daughter.

IMPRESSION:  I had the impression of jumping off the swing in the middle of a push.

I laughed out loud that suddenly He really was there in the midst of my day dream of swinging!.  Then suddenly I GOT it.  He had inspired the day dream about the swinging in the first place!

REVELATION:  A swing is wavering between 2 opinions.  Yes, no.  Up, down.  This is God, not its not.    I suddenly realize this is the Word of the Lord to me, that is where I am right now.  I have been wavering for years about discernment issues.  I need to bail out of the vacillation and decide and land solid in faith.

[Lord will You help me choose?]

HEARD:  Vote.  If your eye is single, then your whole body is full of light.

Matt 6:22-24  KJV

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.  23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!  24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

haplous

NT:573 haplous (hap-looce'); probably from NT:1 (as a particle of union) and the base of NT:4120; properly, folded together, i.e. single (figuratively, clear):

KJV - single.

pleko

NT:4120 pleko (plek'-o); a primary word; to twine or braid:

KJV - plait.

INSERT HALTING BETWEEN 2 OPINIONS

WORD TO PONDER:  ASKING IN FAITH

If you are in the process of making a decision, and are seeking My guidance, know that I will not answer without your participating faith.  Faith is an unseen element dispatching forces to set things in motion.  Faith prepares you and prepares the heavenlies to respond to your need.

There is negative faith as well as positive faith.  Understand, that fear is actually faith in the devil.  Fear dispatches demonized forces to set up the negative circumstances of your belief.  I will not work through fear.  Trust that I have your complete care in mind.

Wavering with indecision is also an obstacle against receiving answers.  When you ask of Me, search your own heart.  Ask yourself, “Do I believe the Lord heard Me?  Do I believe He will answer this prayer?”  If you can stand, knowing this to be true, you are able to resist wavering and thus prepare your heart to receive My Words.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.  But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.  For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”  (James 1:5-8)

UPDATE CONFIRMATION  10/13/09:  I typed the above rhema today into my journal.  And tonight I turned with anointed hands to a page in one of my old Family Circus cartoon books.  I hadnt read them in years.  The Lord used to speak to me years ago through them when my son was a toddler.

I turned to this page!  Jeffy is searching in his very messy drawer.  He said, “If there wasnt so much JUNK in this drawer, I would be able to find the other half of my yo-yo!”

PARABLE:  A yo-yo is a symbol of vacillating between 2 opinions:  Up and Down, Yes and No.

UPDATE:  11/01/09

I struggled with this all month.  Finally I had a breakthrough in the area I had been vacillating about.  I suddenly had a revelation that something I had misunderstood and resisted was the LORD.  The revelation came when I read a scripture and applied it in a different way, directly to the circumstance.  I cried, repented and asked the Lord to please forgive me.  It was a long test in this area and I was very tired of being sifted about this one issue.   In thinking back, I could clearly see how many lessons I had learned through it.  And I also saw how the Lord put me through that particular part of my journey to clean up my soul so that it would be aligned with Him.  Strong meat is sometimes very hard to chew and swallow.  But after we finally chew it up and swallow it, the strength we gain from it is life long.

Heb 5:14  KJV

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Heb 5:13-14 AMP

For everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperienced and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action), for he is a mere infant [not able to talk yet]!  But solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine or human law.
