RHEMA 4/21/13 FINDING THE DOORS TO ENTER IN TO HIM

[Lord is there a door way or an entrance to hearing, seeing and knowing You more intimately?  What are the doors into You Lord?]

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter.

HEARD:  Components, 5 of them. Worship, singing.   Tongues, prayer.   Enter in with thanksgiving and praise. A quiet spirit, be still and know that I AM God and I will talk to you.   He must increase, I must decrease. The mystery.  My life is hid in Christ.  Dying daily.

HEARD: Hammer it in.  It’s not about who you are, it’s about Who I AM in you.  Fellowship access.  Rule number one, confidence, be bold.  The doors are open.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

TEACHING:  5 COMPONENTS TO ENTERING HIS DOOR OF HIDDENNESS

1.  WORSHIP/ SINGING

The Lord chooses to sit down and dwell, remain, abide and marry the praises of His people!  Sometimes I turn on worship music that focuses on loving Him and then I sing to Him and use my hands to worship Him as though they are dancing.  I can do this in my chair and my bed and feel His Presence in such a warm melting way as I invite the Holy Spirit to come.

Psalms 22:3 But you are holy, O you that inhabit {3427} the praises of Israel.

INHABIT

Strong's Hebrew Dictionary
3427. יָשַׁב yashab
Search for H3427 in KJVSL

יָשַׁב yashab yaw-shab'

a primitive root; properly, to sit down (specifically as judge. in ambush, in quiet); by implication, to dwell, to remain; causatively, to settle, to marry:(make to) abide(-ing), continue, (cause to, make to) dwell(-ing), ease self, endure, establish, X fail, habitation, haunt, (make to) inhabit(-ant), make to keep (house), lurking, X marry(-ing), (bring again to) place, remain, return, seat, set(- tle), (down-)sit(-down, still, -ting down, -ting (place) -uate), take, tarry.

2.  TONGUES/ PRAYER

Prayer is a doorway to the Father. Jesus spoke of this and modeled it in His own life.  It was a foundation for Him in communion with the Father. This was His alone time with God where He was refreshed and received His instructions of what the Father was saying and doing.

I pray in tongues a LOT.  Sometimes it is whispers with punctuated loud breath (smile).  Sometimes is it fast and loud in the car by myself.  Sometimes it is just my normal voice with normal speaking tones as I am working around the house.  In the middle of the night it is whispers without hardly any breath at all.  When I walk in parking lots and stores, I have learned how to whisper under my breath in tongues without moving my lips.  I am praying according to the will of God.

Matthew 6:6 But you, when you pray, enter into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly.

Luke 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

Matthew 14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

Rom 8:26-27 NKJV

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

3.  THANKSGIVING and PRAISE

Often when I pray, I start listing all the things I am thankful for, regarding Who He is to me.  I am so refreshed by just the rehearsal of such wonderful qualities and gifts, that I my actual prayer ends up being only one sentence!

Psalms 100:1-5 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all you lands. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know you that the LORD he is God: it is he that has made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.

Notice that in the above 1, 2 and 3 components, these options use our mouths.  Scripture says that our mouth is a DOOR.  (That is quite a revelation when we begin to apply that in all areas of our lives.)

Psalms 141:3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.

4.  BE STILL AND MEDITATE ON HIM

Scripture says that His Words are an entrance.  When we still ourselves and meditate on His Word, it opens a doorway to new revelations of knowing Him.

Psalms 119:130 The entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding unto the simple.

Scripture also says that we know He is God when we are still before Him.  When I calm myself in repose and rest, I am able to hear His still small voice fairly easy.  This is a place within the heart needs to be very quiet where the struggles of the emotions, mind and body are to be put to naught.  These are the places within us that determine our level of distraction or our level of quietness.  As long as I am at peace, I am able to hear Him out of bed, but bed - in the middle of the night is where I learned!

Psalms 4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.

Psalms 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

Psalms 63:6 When I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the night watches.

Psalms 23:2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.

5.  JESUS IS THE DOOR – HE INCREASES, WE DECREASE

Jesus IS the DOOR so we can go in and out and have fellowship IN HIM.  This is a 2 way reciprocation when He knocks on doors into our lives and we open up to Him and He comes in to us.  We are promised green pasture and good eats.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will eat with him, and he with me.

John 10:2-4 But he that enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the gatekeeper opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. 4 And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

THE HIDDEN MYSTERY OF DEATH TO SELF AND ONE-NESS IS HIDDENNESS

HEARD:  He must increase, I must decrease. The mystery.  My life is hid in Christ.  Dying daily.  Hammer it in.  It’s not about who you are, it’s about Who I AM in you.

John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

1 Corinthians 15:31 I protest by your boasting which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

There is a precious mystery that Paul speaks of.  When you track the individual scriptures that mention this mystery, it is all connected with becoming One with Him like in a marriage relationship.  Paul calls it being hidden in Him.  This mystery is about having fellowship partnership, communion with the Lord.

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship {2842} of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

Strong's Greek Dictionary
2842. κοινωνια koinonia
Search for G2842 in KJVSL

κοινωνια koinonia koy-nohn-ee'-ah

from 2844; partnership, i.e. (literally) participation, or (social) intercourse, or (pecuniary) benefaction:(to) communicate(-ation), communion, (contri-)distribution, fellowship.

See Greek 2844

Luk 17:21

Nor will people say, Look! Here [it is]! or, See, [it is] there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you [in your hearts] and among you [surrounding you].

Luk 17:20-21

Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, " The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ' See here! ' or ' See there! ' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you."

This hidden mystery is about Jesus Christ living inside of us.  It is being one with and partnering with the Lord just like a husband and wife.

Colossians 1:26-27 Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Ephesians 5:30-32 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

The only way this one-ness happens is going through death to self.  This hidden mystery is a resurrected life after having gone through death to self.  It is a life of being hidden with Christ in God. We died and our life is hidden in God.  We let go of the evil passions, love of the world, etc.

Colossians 3:1-5 If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you are dead, and your life is hid {2928} with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory. 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

TO BE HIDDEN

Strong's Greek Dictionary
2928. κρυπτω krupto
Search for G2928 in KJVSL

κρυπτω krupto kroop'-to

a primary verb; to conceal (properly, by covering):hide (self), keep secret, secret(-ly).

Hebrews 11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid {2928} three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

When I ponder the Word picture of being hidden in Christ, I had the impression of a cloud cover moving in over a region, where those above the cover cannot see down through the clouds.  Anyone who is has flown in an airplane understands what that looks like.  And then I thought about living in His cloud, you breathe Him in and dwell in Him and He dwells in you.  We are refreshed and hidden from the heat.

Isaiah 4:5-6 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a covering. 6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from storm and from rain.

PROMISES WHEN WE ARE HIDDEN

We have scriptural promises of what takes place when we are dwelling in His hidden secret place.

1. We will behold the beauty of the Lord in the time of trouble.

2. We will be the head and not the tail over our enemies.

3.  We shall dwell in His midst with joy and singing.

Psalms 27:4-6 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. 5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret place of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. 6 And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

HIDE

Strong's Hebrew Dictionary
6845. צָפַן tsaphan
Search for H6845 in KJVSL

צָפַן tsaphan tsaw-fan'

a primitive root; to hide (by covering over); by implication, to hoard or reserve; figuratively to deny; specifically (favorably) to protect, (unfavorably) to lurk:esteem, hide(-den one, self), lay up, lurk (be set) privily, (keep) secret(-ly, place).

4. He is our hiding place and shield.  We are given hope.

Psalms 119:114 You are my hiding place and my shield: I hope in your word.

5.  We will be shut in and protected from the indignation.

Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter you into your chambers, and shut your doors about you: hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation is past.

6. We will be hidden from the plots of the wicked.

Psalms 64:2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

7.  We will abide under His shadow.

8.  He will be our refuge and fortress.

9.  He will deliver us from snares.

10.  He will deliver us from deadly pestilence.

11. He shall cover us with His feathers.

12.  His truth will be our shield.

13.  We will not be afraid of terror, missiles, pestilence or destruction.

14.  These shall not come near us.

15. His angels will be given charge over us to keep us and bear us up.

16.  We shall trample serpents under our feet.

17.  When we call upon the Lord He will answer.

18. He will be with us in trouble.

19.  He will deliver us, honor us and satisfy us with long life and be shown His salvation.

Psalms 91:1-16 He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, even the most High, your habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. 12 They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the serpent shall you trample under feet. 14 Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.

PRAYER:  Lord lead is through Your door of one-ness, of being hidden in You!  What intimate pleasure awaits us who enter into Your chambers oh Lord.  Let us know the joy of abiding under Your shadow, where we are not afraid in times of trouble, because You deliver us, answer us, honor us and satisfy us with Your salvation.  Let us enter in and behold Your beauty, and with joy in our hearts, sing Your praises!
