THE SECRET PLACE OF SAFETY

Today, 2/11/06 I was thinking about the secret place and how often I hear of deliverance ministries asking that their post be covered in the secret place, so the demonic can't spy.  I was also thinking about Graham Cooke's vision, that hiding in the secret place is being totally still in His arms.  It is a place where you are wrapped up in Him and void of all fear and unrest.  In his vision, the demonic were chasing him, and suddenly he saw the Lord and ran into His arms and obeyed Him about being still.  The demonic raced right past Graham and could not see him. 

HEARD SONG:  In the secret, in the quiet place.  Fire by night, cloud by day.  I want to know You more. 

CONFIRMATION:  Tonight at prayer meeting, one of our intercessors prayed the following scripture:

Ps 91:1-2  NKJV

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust."

REVELATION:  I understand that the secret place is HIS PRESENCE, where we abide in His cloud by day and warm fire by night.  We are covered in Him.  I have found that when I cultivate His tangible anointing and Presence in my life, that it is an awesome warfare tool of barricading the demonic away while I hear the Lord.

I have often found that worship is the most wonderful door for experiencing His tangible Presence.

WORD TO PONDER:  THE SECRET OF MY SECRET PLACE

Oh passionate lover of My heart, you have sought Me and found Me, when you do all that you can to embrace My tangible Presence.  I AM the God Who is always there and I want the barriers of your body, soul and spirit melted away so that we can become One and you will know Me intimately.  Precious, draw near to Me in worship and adoration and prayer.  Open the windows of your heart and soul and let My warmth melt you to your very core. 

As you find My Presence, learn to cultivate it, so that you learn to recognize My confirming comfort, assurance, stability, love, and affirmation of the moment.  Cultivate, cherish and dwell in My Presence and you shall know the secret place where all else melts away except our Oneness, together.  Relax now and just let Me embrace you. 

You will find that in that loving place with Me, you are resting in perfect faith that I AM God.  No fear, nothing touches you in My strong arms of love.  You are safe, dear one.

How lovely is Your tabernacle, O LORD of hosts!  My soul longs, yes, even faints

For the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.  Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young —  Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts, my King and my God.  Blessed are those who dwell in Your house; they will still be praising You.
