FEET TO OUR FAITH

[Walking Out What We Believe]

VISION 7/16/04: During worship, at a special out of town meeting, I experienced deep and soothing soaking... rather like floating on my back as I felt the waves of His Spirit rise and fall in a gentle ebb and flow. They would burst forth in tiny tingles like bubbles inside of me and I would burst out in gentle tongues or song, then I would fall back into deep rest and just enjoy the gentle tangible touches of His Presence. It was like one big romance as I soaked in the Words of the songs. They chose mostly slow, ethereal, and deeply resting songs... my favorite kind. Then I had a vision of seeing the back of Jesus’ feet in sandals walking right in front of me where the ocean tide breaks and bubbles on the sand.

Right after I saw His feet, I had the impression that I had followed right up to the same spot and when I looked down, instead of His sandals, it was my feet in a pair of flip flop sandals which were partially buried. Like lovely treasures, they rose out of the sand studded with rows of half inch diamonds along the straps. I felt He was telling me that I was His walking jewel. I was reminded of the following scripture where He speaks of His jewels.

Mal 3:16-18 NKJV

Then those who feared the LORD spoke to one another, and the LORD listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the LORD and who meditate on His name. "They shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him." Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him.

Then the experience went into a somewhat ethereal vision where Jesus was in the ocean water about 20 to 30 feet out. I saw His white robe and outline in form, but not His face. I could feel Him beckoning me to come. Instead of walking out into the water, I took a catapult leap into His arms, where He caught me sideways like a bride being carried over the threshold. It felt like the rest of worship was our enjoying the bubbles from the breaking of the waves during the rise and the fall of the Holy Spirit’s Presence during worship. It was such joy.

On the way home, I was comparing the ways I "heard and saw" Him during that experience. The first part of seeing His walking sandal feet was vivid, but my own jeweled flip flops was an impression that I did not actually see although it was a very clear impression. His being in the water was a fuzzy and less vivid vision, however, enjoying the bubbles was a tangible experience as I instinctively knew I was in His arms and we were bobbing up and down in the water. Because it was not one solid vivid vision, I began to question Him and ask Him for confirmation that the entire experience really was Him. I asked Him several times for confirmation because this was such a precious experience and I did not want to let it go. He answered my heart cry with several confirmations and I was so very tickled with how He chose to do this!

CONFIRMATION: The next night during the same set of meetings, I was sitting next to a teenage girl. I lost count of how many times she accidentally bumped me with her foot during the service! It got to be so bad, that she got tired of apologizing and I got tired of telling her not to worry about it. Finally at the VERY end of the service she kicked me really strong. I said loudly, "I’m sorry but this has GOT to be the LORD!!! He is trying to get my attention through you!!" She looked flabbergasted and embarrassed (of course) as I looked down at her feet.

I was stunned. "Oh WOW GOD, thank You!!!" Now she is looking at her feet. "Huh???" She had on a pair of flip flops. They were studded with many diamond like rhinestones jewels!!

[It was in the same time frame that I heard the following after going through a real stretching assignment that required feet to my faith and I was also going through some death to self in the process.]

HEARD 8/12/04: Travel. Rest plentiful. Assignment. Be blessed, you’ll like it. Multiplied faith. A little bit of faith goes a long way. Mustard seed. Convinced. My bride, she’s priceless. A jewel, diamond. I’m bad. NO you are not bad. Exemplar behavior. She’s Mine. Crystallized jewels. As touching the earth, heaven smiles upon you. Why the sorrow? Advancement. Future joy. Lord over your life. On earth as it is in heaven. This is My way, walk ye in it. Emblem.

SYNONYMS FOR THE WORD EMBLEM: Symbol, token, sign, badge, mark, memento, reminder.

CONFIRMATION PROPHETIC GESTURE: Upon hearing the word, "emblem", my hand instinctively went to my chest and rubbed an appliqué that had been sewn on as a design on my pair of summer jammies. As I was wondering what He meant by saying the word emblem, I looked down and my finger was rubbing a jeweled rhinestone on a pair of flipflop sandals… and it was an emblem!

HEARD: Adorned. She is putting her best foot forward. {The right foot.} "Right" into place. A new life.

VISION: I saw electrical wires of power that had been planted inside some gold memorial stones in my backyard and I was walking on these freshly planted stones. These stones had come from the recent season about putting feet to my faith.

HEARD: Golden stones. Memorial. They shine all the way up to heaven. It’s a true gift, your willingness. Humble assurance.

QUICKENED SIGN ON JERRY’S BUILDING SUPPLY STORE: It showed a man who has walked through an open door and onto the other side of the threshold. On the other side of the door is a HUGE field with no end as far as you can see.

QUICKENED BILLBOARD: The words, "Bare Essentials" are on the ad, along with a pair of men’s walking sandals.

WORD TO PONDER: FAITH MULTIPLIED INTO JOY AND POWER

Precious ones, heaven smiles upon you as you put feet to your faith and literally walk out what you believe. A little bit of faith goes a long way. As you apply faith to your walk and also go through death to self, I always multiply your mustard like seeds of faith. I have adorned your walk with diamond studded jewels. From places you have been, golden memorial stones have been planted in your garden.

Do not look backwards at your sorrows of loss dear ones. Do not personalize areas where you have walked into death to self and granted Me Lordship over your life. You are NOT bad. As you have yielded all to Me, I see only exemplary behavior from your lessons, sometimes so difficult to learn. My priceless ones, from My loving hand, I see only advancement for you, along with future joy. In that day, as you remember those special walks of faith, you will notice that I have wired these memorial stones with My power. These stones shine all the way up to heaven and will become your delight as your walk of faith is transformed into your walk of power.

There is one essential thing that you need in walking through the threshold of this great field ready to be taken…. Make sure that your feet are shod with peace. You must learn the secret of truly resting upon Me, letting My Word carry you where you place all your weight into My strong arms of love. As you feel the warmth of My embrace, I shall flood your body, soul and spirit with peace and you shall come into the rest I have prepared for you since the beginning. This walk shall put all of the enemy under foot. Then allow Me to carry you into the Voice of many waters, where My Presence goes to the nations. As you jump into My arms, My Presence shall bubble forth inside and all around you.

…and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation,

who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
