ANGELS AND WARFARE

Hi Loved Ones,

In a recent prayer gathering, one of our intercessors received a vision that was most encouraging. I felt it was a revealing picture of what happens to our "warfare" prayers when we pray them. As a background to this vision, his daughter is in Spain going to school and we were praying from Oregon, USA.

She had called asking for prayer because she came in contact with a student that was involved with witchcraft, and she felt creepy and uncomfortable. They prayed over the phone, then later as an intercessory group we prayed again. We bound the powers of the enemy over her, broke off all demonic assignments against her, and loosed the angels to send her deliverance. We also prayed a hedge of protection around her. After this, he received this wonderful vision:

His perspective was from the sky looking down upon the continents of the earth. Little lines extended out to all parts of the land masses. He understood these were the individual prayers of the people. They connected into three very large shafts of bright light coming from three continents and meeting together in the sky. These shafts of light appeared to carry substance, like living light moving upwards. At their point of intersection stood a bright angelic being, wielding a large sword.

The angel turned and pointed his sword to the region of Spain around Salamenca. A fierce white bolt of light came out of the sword and hit this region. When the angel had delivered the bolt, his sword came up and the living light ascending the shafts re-energized the sword for the next attack.

I was so blessed with he shared this vision! The scripture says, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Heb 11:1 KJV) Our faith is the living substance within those shafts of light and it releases all kinds of power in the spirit realm! What was even more encouraging was that we did not labor over our prayers for her, and there were only 8 of us in that room. If we only knew how powerful and important prayer is, we would never stop praying.

On my last post, where I forwarded Kathy Walter’s article on angels, I wrote a little note prior to it: "I listened to a tape a few weeks ago and if I remember correctly, it was Bobby Conner who saw a vision of some angels in heaven standing around bored. When He asked the Lord about them, He said that it was our responsibility to make sure they were sent. We have the authority in the name of Jesus to bind demonic powers and dispatch angels into any situation." I received two e-mails in response saying that we do not command angels, only God does that. I want to clear any misunderstandings. Nowhere in scripture does it say that we command angels, any more than we command God to do anything.

When I said we have the authority to bind demons and dispatch angels, I was speaking of the scripture, "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Matt 16:18-19 NKJV) When I pray, I bind the demonic powers and loose the angels to go forth on behalf of whatever situation needs attention.

It took the angel three weeks to fight through demonic resistance to get to Daniel. When he arrived, he said, "Don't be frightened, Daniel, for your request has been heard in heaven and was answered the very first day you began to fast before the Lord and pray for understanding; that very day I was sent here to meet you. But for twenty-one days the mighty Evil Spirit who overrules the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the top officers of the heavenly army, came to help me, so that I was able to break through these spirit rulers of Persia. Now I am here to tell you what will happen to your people, the Jews, at the end times-for the fulfillment of this prophecy is many years away." (Dan 10:12-14 TLB)

What we do on earth works hand in hand with what is going on in heaven. The angels are working to fight through opposition and fasting is one of the tools to help them to fight through. Daniel fasted 3 weeks until he received his answer. There are many tools in warfare, and because Jesus disarmed principalities and powers, (Col 2:15) He gave us the keys of the kingdom to bind and loose. (Matt 16:18-19) In the Greek, the word "whatsoever" we bind or loose means "who, which or what." If we can bind a demon, we can loose their opposite, which is an angel.

I have been in many warfare situations at night where I see violent lightening clashes where binding the enemy and loosing the angels causes violent impacts against the darkness. As a weak vessel, it is very frightening and startling to experience these so close to the point of impact, but it makes me most grateful for the power to bind and loose. Things happen when we use the authority Jesus has given us!

INTERCESSORS STAND GUARD

I AM raising an army of intercessors who understand the significance of standing in the gap. They may be unseen by others, but they are not unseen by Me. These carry My authority into the spiritual realm and fight on behalf of others. They have been trained to stand strong against the enemy tide, and resist the forces sent against those they encircle. Together, they form a mighty wall of protection for the weaker vessels within.

Now is the time for those trained to defend and stand on behalf of those they love. Be strong, for the heavenly hosts fight with you. Be of great courage, for there are more with you than with the enemy. Stand in My favor and My grace. Know your own sins are forgiven and come into My courts with boldness, declaring defeat of the enemy’s destructive forces, and victory for the overcomers who believe in My Name.

Arm yourselves with weapons of My authority. Keep your shields of faith high and quench the fiery darts with My Word. Command the evil forces to retreat in the Mighty Name of Jesus. Loose the angels to go forth and fight. Use the battering rams of praise, worship and speaking My Name. Each blow causes a retreat. Be persistent and use your weapons over and over again, and the strongholds will fall. You will see victories all around you as you are willing to stand guard when I call you to do so. Be on the alert. I give you times of rest and times of war. Learn to discern them and you will learn to take advantage of both for My Kingdom’s sake.

"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it:" (Ezekiel 22:30)
