AGENDAS
IN MINISTRY
HEARD:
Push. They are searching in all the wrong places. Behind
the scenes, self interests. Lay down your agendas.
What’s
the secret ingredient in letting go? Faith. How to trust
in Me. Let them not be ashamed. Those who put their
trust in Him.
Planning. Future. Let My will be done. It’s who you are,
not where you are going. Come to Me. We’ll see what we
can do, in spite of everything.
Ps
25:20-21 KJV
O keep
my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I
put my trust in thee. Let integrity and uprightness
preserve me; for I wait on thee.

VISION:
I saw a rock climber trying to climb straight up a
cliff.
HEARD:
Lord help us!
CONFIRMATION: I saw and heard the above while I was
taking a rest from work. When I got up, I turned on a
tape. Bobby Conner was speaking about ascending the hill
of the Lord. He was saying that we cannot do it in the
power of our own flesh. The Lord is very firm in wanting
us to leave the power and pursuits of our flesh and not
be building our own agendas. In climbing His holy hill,
He wants nothing less than the holy image of His Son.
Bobby saw a pile of carnage as people failed to climb in
their own strength. It is only when we fall down at His
feet at the base of the mountain of our own weaknesses
that we can be carried up to the top in His merciful
gondola.

WORD TO
PONDER: LAY DOWN THE AGENDAS
Many who
have callings into public ministry do not understand
that it can only be fulfilled as they let go of their
own lives and let Me live through them. This is
accomplished through laying down all personal agendas of
not only what is to happen, but also how it is to
happen. I build My kingdom in My time, My way and
without the agendas of men.
Many
will learn through the pain of failure that pushing
accomplishes nothing. They seek to build in all the
wrong places. They are filled with motives of self
serving gain, titles and success. The only place to
build ministry is at My feet, letting go and trusting Me
to fulfill My promises My way. My kingdom is within the
hearts of men. As they come to Me, I will build what
they cannot do in their own strength.
"Unless
the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build
it." (Ps 127:1 NKJV)
