RHEMA 12/06/10 ZERUBBABEL & THE FOUNDATIONAL POWER OF DECREE TO REBUILD

HEARD: You found your ring.

Hag 2:23 NKJV

'In that day,' says the Lord of hosts, 'I will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the son of Shealtiel,' says the Lord, 'and will make you like a signet ring; for I have chosen you,' says the Lord of hosts."

A signet ring spoke of signing decrees and laws that sealed the final say and could not be broken, undone or reversed. The signet ring was the sign of the greatest authority to rule as a king. Pharaoh had a signet ring and put it on Joseph's hand. Esther's king had a signet ring. Haman had a signet ring which was then given to Mordacai. Daniel's king had a signet ring. Zerubbabel His servant was made to be like a signet ring. And the prodigal son was given a ring for his hand. (We dont know if it was a signet ring)

As I read the following scriptures about the power of a signet ring, it was quickened to me that letters of the king's decree were sent out by couriers throughout the land. Couriers represent messengers of the Word and in scripture He speaks of messengers being His angels.

Ps 104:4 AMP

Who makes winds His messengers, flames of fire His ministers. [Heb 1:7.]

We are given the King's authority to make decrees in His name, of which can not be undone. When we decree, then angelic messengers take those decrees and send them throughout the land!

Rev 1:5-6 NKJV

To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Gen 41:42 AMP

And Pharaoh took off his [signet] ring from his hand and put it on Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in [official] vestments of fine linen and put a gold chain about his neck;

Then the king's scribes were called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and a decree was written ... in the name of King Ahasuerus it was written, and sealed with the king's signet ring. And the letters were sent by couriers into all the king's provinces,

And a stone was brought and laid upon the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet and with the signet of his lords, that there might be no change of purpose concerning Daniel.

Est 8:13-14 AMP

A copy of the writing was to be issued as a decree in every province and as a proclamation to all peoples, and the Jews should be ready on that day to avenge themselves upon their enemies. 14 So the couriers, who were mounted on swift beasts that were used in the king's service, went out, being hurried and urged on by the king's command;

And the king took off his [signet] ring, which he had taken from Haman, and gave it to Mordecai. And Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman.

Write also concerning the Jews as it pleases you in the king's name, and seal it with the king's [signet] ring - for writing which is in the king's name and sealed with the king's ring no man can reverse.

Zerubbabel's promise

Hag 2:23 NKJV

Zerubbabel's name came from 2 words, one meaning to flow like warm wax (anointing) and the other as coming out of a place of great confusion (Babel). In scripture the mountains melted like wax at the Lord's Presence. Zerubbabel will melt like wax in the Lord's Presence and follow the flow of His anointing, out of places of confusion and captivity into a place to rebuild that which has fallen. The allegory that his very name is flowing wax that will then be given the power of a signet ring, is remarkable!

They melted wax and dripped the wax upon the written decrees, then the signet ring was placed upon the hardening wax with the king's mark depicting his signature and authority. The stamped wax was a sign that such a decree could not be broken, the symbol of the hardened wax.

The following scripture says that after having suffered a white, He will establish us. The word establish has its root meanings to set fast, to stand stiff and set up in a solid, stable position. This reminds me of melted wax that is finally set up into a solid state, firm and set into place.

1 Peter 5:10 KJV

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Zerubbabel led a small band of captives out of Babylon and they went to Jerusalem to rebuilt the second temple. He rebuild the temple foundation, then after a 16 year delay, he resumed the work and finished it.

On a spiritual level, it is quickened to me that when the Lord said that He was going to make Zerubbabel like a signet ring, He is saying that the melting of Zerubbabel's life and his promised ring represents the King's authority to rebuild what has fallen by the foundation power of decree, that will never be revoked or undone. Angelic messengers, like couriers, will take the decrees and spread them through out the land.

The Lord is raising up Zerubbabel's, who come out of captivity being melted and flowing like wax. They will leave their places of captivity and be set up and established with God's power and authority of the King's decree to rebuild that which has fallen.

HEARD: I am making you into My image.

(I heard this after writing the above and suddenly realized after Him saying this, that the SIGNET represent His image stamped upon us.)

1 Cor 15:49 NKJV

And as we have borne the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

CONFIRMATION: I created the above image for my husband, because I heard this rhema on his birthday. After about 20 tries, I found the template to upload into the gallery, but then I couldnt find where the graphic saved. I searched and searched and finally found it. Then I went on line to update the files and when I clicked to view it on line, the graphic was not there. I uploaded another file and when I clicked to view it, I sighed a big relief and said, "I FOUND IT!" And then I heard what I had just said.... The rhema for this night was, "You found your ring!" Wow God has an amazing way of speaking to us.
