RHEMA 8/12/06 WASHING THE THOUGHT LIFE

DREAM: I was bringing something out to the beach to meet one of my spiritual sons. Just as I got there, I looked to my side and the tide had come in and there was a 5' wave that was going to sweep over us and wash us. It was a very pretty colored wave, like the pure water from Hawaii. We quickly grabbed his stuff before it got ruined. He grabbed his Bible and I grabbed his lap top. I picked up a couple things that were too heavy for him to carry and he had his hands full too. We waded through the water.

We got to the dock from different angles and went inside a building attached. He immediately reported to a teacher who gave him a spelling quiz. He was supposed to spell 3 words. He got the first 2 correct and said he had no idea how to spell the last one. I looked out the window and the tide was completely gone.

APPLICATION: The scripture says that God's thoughts towards us are many like the sands of the seas. Sand represents the thought life and it can also represent many children, as in Abraham's promise.

Ps 139:17-18 NKJV

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand.

Gen 32:12 NKJV

For You said, 'I will surely treat you well, and make your descendants as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.'"

WORD TO PONDER: A SUDDEN WAVE TO WASH THE SOUL 8/12/06

Many are caught in a place of wrestling over a multitude of thoughts.... mulling, thinking, trying to force an answer that does not see resolution. Working from different angles, not seeing an easy answer, this has become a great distraction. To some, these thoughts are nurturing soul giants that lead to sin. Do not be caught ensnared in thoughts that do not edify. The mind is the seed bed of the demonic and the world, and it will grip you if you do not take your thoughts captive.

I AM sending a sudden wave of My predetermined washing, to wash the thoughts of those who are caught within these patterns. This wave is pure, and transparent and sent from Me, not the enemy. It will suddenly overtake Mine own who are caught in the entrapment of wrongful thinking. My written Word and rhema Word will be one's anchor in such a time. All else will take a thorough washing until the mind is set free from feeding the soul giants that crave resolution but find no rest.

...pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ...

When He took me into the Cloud, He showed me many things foreign to Himself that He was removing because they were not made of His substance. These things were like thoughts, yet hey were not His thoughts. Although they were very active, having united and reproduced, and were occupying a place they had no right to occupy, nevertheless God was allowing them to work for His own high purposes.

Calling these foreign thoughts “separators” - for they were building contrary to His purposes an causing separation, or withdrawal from Him - He sent to another a place, filled with His thoughts, to seek weapons against them. In this place of His thoughts He sought a powerful, complex and invincible thought founded on peace, security and tenderness. This He used as a weapon to carry those separating thoughts into another place where they were harmonized and neutralized, and were no longer able to cause separation or withdrawal from Him.

A CLEANSING OF THE LAND
