WEIGHING THE VALUE OF HIS WORD 5/17/12

VISION:  I saw one side of a little gold balance scale.  It had a tiny torn off piece of paper with the Word of the Lord sitting in the middle of the plate which was hung by a delicate chain.  When I saw the paper I knew it was like the olden days when I would hear a precious sentence from the Lord and I would try to find any piece of paper available to write it down so that His beautiful Word would not be lost.

Throughout the years when I have heard the Word of the Lord, I have stopped all and done everything I could to preserve it.  Having gone through many seasons of both hearing in abundance and hearing in famine, I have not let go of how PRECIOUS His Word is.  The value of His Word is more than life itself, because Jesus Christ is the Word of God.

John 1:1-5 NKJV

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

VISION:  I saw the arm of the scale moving as though to weigh the value of that Word in the balance.

HEARD:  The value of My Word.

Ps 138:2 NKJV

For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

Prov 16:16 NKJV

How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

Ps 19:9-11 NKJV

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.  10 More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.  11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is great reward.

Prov 25:11-12 NKJV

A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold In settings of silver.  12 Like an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold Is a wise rebuker to an obedient ear.

QUICKENED MEMORY:  The Lord once told Bobby about what establishes value.

YOUR VALUE IN ME 10/10/10

HEARD: What is your value in Me? Worth. You are one of My greatest assets. I meant every word.

HEARD: Watch. I will tell you exactly why it is important.

CONFIRMATION BOBBY CONNER QUOTE: 10/20/10

www.bobbyconner.org

"The number one criteria for setting value to an object is how rare it is. Do you qualify? 6.6 billion people alive. Not a single person on earth like you. They have never found any 2 DNAs a perfect match. Do you know why? You are divinely unique. There is only one you. There will never be another you. You are absolutely one of a kind. I would take my pen and check that one off. Rare. That makes you priceless."

"The next way you assess value to an object is this: What's somebody willing to pay for it? What did heaven pay for you? You are not redeemed with corruptible things such and gold and silver, but with you are redeemed by the precious blood of the Lamb."

1 Peter 1:18-20 NKJV

...knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

As I ponder the balance scales moving, I know the Lord is weighing things in the balance.  He alone is the God of Justice and Judgment. He is perfectly equitable and knows exactly how to measure on scales.

I have been increasingly sobered the last 3 decades over those who do not value the Word of the Lord and have grown lukewarm and/or cold.  I have gone through so many intercessions over this one thing, standing against the famine for hearing God’s Word, begging for mercy and doing everything I could to do in my part of overcoming this horrendous judgment.

Isa 6:9-12 NKJV

And He said, "Go, and tell this people: 'Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.'  10 "Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed."  11 Then I said, "Lord, how long?" And He answered: "Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant, The houses are without a man, The land is utterly desolate, 12 The Lord has removed men far away, And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.

Amos 8:11-12 NKJV

"Behold, the days are coming," says the Lord God, "That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord. 12 They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, But shall not find it.

There is coming a day when the entire world will be suffering a literal famine due to world war 3.  (Rev 6:6) It will be a sign to the lukewarm of having forsaken His Word and they will be sent to buy gold refined in the fire because when they heard Him knocking on their doors to eat bread with Him, they refused.  It is very disheartening, and yet I have come to accept that God alone weighs these things in the balance, knowing the hearts of men.

HANGING IN THE BALANCE:  After these many years of intercession in regards to this judgment, I have come to know that His heart in judgment is always perfectly weighed in the balance with His LOVING desperation to reach His own ones, doing all that He can do to change the minds of those He loves.   Desperate times requires desperate measures.  We have come full circle.

Rev 3:14-22 NKJV

'These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:  15 "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot.  16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.  17 Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' — and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked —   18 I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.  19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.  20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.  21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. 22 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."'
