RHEMA 12/05/11  TRUE FELLOWSHIP

HEARDFellowship. People can have fellowship only to the degree they know Me.  It's true sweetheart.  It's paramount that you understand this.  Coming out of fellowship into the real world.  It is exactly the opposite.  Coming out of the world for real fellowship.

COMMENT:  This counteracts the view of being so heavenly minded one is no earthly good.  Ministering and fellowshipping are 2 different concepts.  If you are trying to have fellowship with someone you are ministering to, you are looking in the wrong place if they are living in the world, filled with unbelief and/or think you are too spiritual.

1 Cor 1:9 NKJV

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

FELLOWSHIP

NT:2842

koinonia (koy-nohn-ee'-ah); from NT:2844; partnership, i.e. (literally) participation, or (social) intercourse, or (pecuniary) benefaction:

KJV - (to) communicate (-ation), communion, (contri-) distribution, fellowship.

2 Cor 6:14-18 NKJV

Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people."  17 Therefore "Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you."  18 'I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters,  Says the Lord Almighty."

FELLOWSHIP

NT:3352

metoche (met-okh-ay'); from NT:3348; participation, i.e. intercourse:

KJV - fellowship.

NT:3348

metecho (met-ekh'-o); from NT:3326 and NT:2192; to share or participate; by implication belong to, eat (or drink):

KJV - be partaker, pertain, take part, use.

WORDS OF WISDOM:  Jesus did no mighty miracles in places because of their unbelief and Jesus put aside the ridiculing crowd to raise the girl from the dead.  They were not allowed to partake of the fellowship (communications, participation) of the inner workings of the miracles taking place.

There are certain people that are toxic to one's faith and the ability to climb higher in God.  It is coming through soul ties with loved ones who are entrenched in the world.  The Lord said that His friends and family were only those who did His Father's will.  When we view our relationships through that lens, we need to learn who our friends really are and how to guard our heart from the unbelief and rebellions of others that we love.  We need to back off to the degree that we can guard our hearts from the toxicity of others' negativity and unbelief and yet still love them as God enables us to love.

Matt 9:23-26  NKJV

When Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, 24 He said to them, "Make room, for the girl is not dead, but sleeping." And they ridiculed Him. 25 But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. 26 And the report of this went out into all that land.

John 15:14-15 NKJV

You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

Mark 3:33-35 NKJV

But He answered them, saying, "Who is My mother, or My brothers?"  34 And He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said, "Here are My mother and My brothers!  35 For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother."
