HEARD: the Lost sheep.

RHEMA 10/15/07 TORMENTED? OBEDIENCE MATTERS

VISION: I saw a demon that looked like a rat but was bigger and did not have a pointed nose like rats. I did not know what it was or represented. It was moving up and down my arms and I could hear him crunching. I felt the pain in my tendons as he did this and I bound him and commanded him to go.

CONFIRMATION EYE GLANCE: A couple hours later I went to a park to take photos and my eye glanced at a sign that had a picture of a Muskrat. It looked just like the demon I saw. The sign said they ate dead logs from fallen trees. Dead logs and fallen trees represent the flesh and places of carnality.

INTERNET SEARCH: These animals are most active at night or near dawn and dusk. The thrive in sulphurous water in marshes and ponds and have extensive burrow systems.

HEARD: The glory of God. End times. I do whatever He tells me to do. Obedience.

Ps 81:11-14 NKJV

"But My people would not heed My voice, and Israel would have none of Me. So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, to walk in their own counsels. "Oh, that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways! I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn My hand against their adversaries.

Josh 23:11-13 NKJV

Therefore take careful heed to yourselves, that you love the LORD your God. Or else, if indeed you do go back, and cling to the remnant of these nations — these that remain among you — and make marriages with them, and go in to them and they to you, know for certain that the LORD your God will no longer drive out these nations from before you. But they shall be snares and traps to you, and scourges on your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from this good land which the LORD your God has given you.

Judg 2:20-23 NKJV

Then the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel; and He said, "Because this nation has transgressed My covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not heeded My voice, I also will no longer drive out before them any of the nations which Joshua left when he died, so that through them I may test Israel, whether they will keep the ways of the LORD, to walk in them as their fathers kept them, or not." Therefore the LORD left those nations, without driving them out immediately; nor did He deliver them into the hand of Joshua. ]

STRONG CONFIRMATION 10/19/07 THE PARABLE OF OBEDIENCE

A friend invited me with her family to go to a Walt Disney movie called Ratouille. I had no idea what it would be about. It was a parable about a rat named Remy who had a distinctive sense of smell that is a gift his rat family didn’t have. (Smell represents discernment between the good and the bad.) And his dream was to become a cook. (Sharing rhema meals) Remy’s "conscience" was a famous cook Gusteau, who wrote a book, “Anyone Can Cook.”

Remy forms a partnership with Linguini, the non-cooking son of Gusteau. To help Linguini cook, at first Remy runs up and down Linguini’s body, biting and nipping him when he doesnt do things right. This form of communication was not working! This really got my attention as this is what the rat demon did in my vision a few nights ago.

Finally Remy hides and sits on top of the Linguini’s head underneath his chef hat. He takes a hold of Linguini’s hair in 2 clumps and like horses reigns, he “steers” Linguini through the kitchen to help him create delicious entrees in the culinary world of Paris. Linguini doesnt know how to cook, but because he follows Remy’s leading, he serves delicious meals. All I could think of when he did this was the scripture that says stubborn mules have to be led by reigns but God wants to lead us differently so that we will learn to obey and follow Him without being led like a stupid animal who is without understanding.

Ps 32:8-9 NLT

The LORD says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control."

The whole thing was strong meat but I felt the Lord used this to get my attention. I have tendon problems and although my weight is not the cause, it certainly aggravates it. It was an encouragement to stay on the road of obedience in the area of food!

WORD TO PONDER: TORMENTED? OBEDIENCE MATTERS 10/19/07

There are many ways to raise a child, and each child determines the kind of training he receives. It all condenses to something very simple: listen and be willing to heed My Word. Dear one, remember Israel. When they were stubborn and rebellious, I turned them over to their enemies until it got their attention and they turned and repented.

Precious one, we need a better way of communicating. I want to lead you with the love of My eye upon you, and not through negative reinforcement. When you are stubborn, rebel and do not listen, it opens demonic doors of torment in your life. Stubbornness is as the sin of witchcraft. Repent of this, and surrender to My loving hand instead.

When you are trained in obedience you will be delivered from the tormentors and they shall forever be under your feet. As you bow low and surrender to My reign, My kingdom will grow in your life and My will shall be done in your life on earth, even as I have already spoken in heaven. I shall make you My vessel, My conduit of good gifts liberally poured out upon all.

Ps 32:8-9 AMP

I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Be not like the horse or the mule, which lack understanding, which must have their mouths held firm with bit and bridle, or else they will not come with you.
