THE WAVES
MOVE ME HIGHER 3/12/08
I love to glance at Creations Scapes while I am typing
rhema.

You can buy the DVDs or it is also a half hour program
that comes on DayStar sometime around midnight and I
have my recorder set to tape them. I like to turn the
music off, and just watch the glorious beauty unfold, or
turn on my IPOD with my own preferences for music.
Sometimes I turn the recording on slow speed and watch
everything in slow motion. Lovely scenery and
scriptures pop up to encourage me.
Today I was watching the waves of the ocean moving in
and the revelation came to me that they always move, and
if we stay still we will be swept off course. The only
way to not be overwhelmed is to face them, and advance
UP. And that of course is the dream I had this week
prior to going to the ocean. We propel our hearts
towards God and allow the contrary motion of the waves
to lift us UP above them.
So today as I see the waves, I am grateful that they are
driving me to God. Come oh Lord, sweep our souls UP from
what threatens to overwhelm us. You alone are our help
in times of need. Grant us Your strength to face and
press UP into You this day.
Ps 42:7-8 NKJV
Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;
All Your waves and billows have gone over me. The LORD
will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in
the night His song shall be with me — A prayer to the
God of my life.
