HAND CRAFTED ORNAMENTS, THE LORD REMEMBERS  & RESTORES LOSSES FROM THE PAST

RHEMA 12/13/10

HEARD:  Special memories

PIX:  I saw a pretty tree ornament that said the word PICK on it.

Isa 49:17, NKJV

Your sons shall make haste; Your destroyers and those who laid you waste Shall go away from you. Lift up your eyes, look around and see; All these gather together and come to you. As I live," says the Lord, "You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, And bind them on you as a bride does.

In the month of December the Lord quickened the Word "ornament" several times.  It was not until the end of the month did I truly understand what He was leading up to.  Below are the different quickened moments encapsulated in December rhema, as they unfolded.  Instead of sharing the individual pieces, I could write a Word to Ponder to get to the point.  However, one of the commissions I have is to teach others HOW to hear the Lord.

One of the main highlights in hearing God, is learning to discover things that we see and hear (in the naturals and spirituals) that are quickened to us, as something relevant to what the Lord is saying.  One of the ways to discover these relevant Words is to learn to identify "buzz" words.  These are simply words that jump out at you, because you have been hearing the same words in other contexts within the same season.  They also jump out at you because you realize they have a spiritual significance to you, even if you don't understand what it all means.

MAKING ORNAMENTS WITH MY GRANDCHILDREN 12/20/10

Today, my daughter in law and grandchildren came over and they picked out their favorite photographs on our refrigerator and we made tree ornaments with them.  We each chose our favorite designed paper, stickers, and glitter and glued them together.  Then I ran them through our laminator, punched holes and strung them with ribbons.  Each one was very unique and different and they turned out darling.  They took them home and hung them on their tree.

ORNAMENTS ON OUR TREE 12/23/10:  We have a house cleaner who has a Christmas tree ministry for shut-ins. She volunteered to put up one of her trees for us this year and I got to pick the theme and color.  Our own tree is normally a green tree with white feathers, doves and bridal veil which we have enjoyed for years.  When I saw her photos, I chose the pink tree and felt that it would bless a family member who had given me some of her pink ornaments in the past, which we included with our house cleaner's assortment.

I was so surprised when I received the following Christmas card, as it had the identical 3 balls on it as our combined pink tree.  It was quickened to me as definitely not an accident, since the Lord had focused several Words about tree ornaments this December.  I found out that the white orchid is used in bridal bouquets as a symbol of purity, love and hope.

12/27/10  IN REMEMBRANCE

After Christmas I visited my grandkids tree to see our ornaments.  I remembered the Christmas tree I had grown up with that had so many memories and hand made crafts on them, that kept special occasions in remembrance.  That is the kind of tree they are building in their family.

RHEMA 12/30/10  IN REMEMBRANCE

HEARD:  Weave again intricate patterns.  Bridging an exact science.  From yesterday to tomorrow.  Span the gap.  Shedding light on some old matters...

Woven for a purpose.  Uniquely your own.  My sign, I haven't left you

PIXI saw 2 angels looking at ornaments and Christmas tags.  I saw one of the ornaments in one's hand and he said, "I pick that one."

HEARD:  I AM remembering you.  I want you to come.  An open door.

QUICKENED REMEMBRANCE

HEARD 6/06/10 (booming, inner audible voice): I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!!

Isa 49: 15,16 NKJV

Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.

QUICKENED SCRIPTURE FOR 2011:  TO BE REMEMBERED

From Psalm 111

Ps 111:4-6 NKJV

He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.  He has given food to those who fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant.  He has declared to His people the power of His works, in giving them the heritage of the nations.

QUICKENED MOVIE:  REDEEMING THE LOST HERITAGES

I watched a Hallmark Christmas movie "When Angels Come to Town." An angel was sent to redeem the lost heritage of a family business and pass it down to the son.  The angel took the hand of a young boy to help him escape Germany via a tunnel as he reluctantly left his parents behind to face their death.  In the process, the boy dropped the box that contained his inheritance of hand painted ornaments.  They were heirlooms of hand blown glass with hand painted scenes from his family life and business.  The last ornament had not yet been finished when the family had to flee their home.

In the movie, the boy is now an old man who was unable to persuade his adult son to continue the family business in the rare handcrafted way.  Instead, the son wanted to mass produce them and make more money.  The angel was sent to retrieve the box of lost ornaments and restore it to the family, including to help change the mind of the son who did not appreciate his rich heritage of the craft to blow glass and hand paint ornaments.  In the end the family relationships are restored, the family craft is kept and the son carries on the gift of craft that was passed down to him.

PARABLE:  This Christmas season, 3 heirloom ornaments fell to the floor and shattered.  I was not sad over their loss, but I knew it was a parable.

QUICKENED QUOTES JOEL OSTEEN 12/24/10"A master piece is not massed produced, you are custom made."

"I am not holding onto the ashes, I am looking for the beauty."

Isa 61:3-4 NKJV

To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified."  And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.

EXPERIENCE 1/1/10:  After much prayer and waiting upon the Lord, He has restored a relationship in my spiritual family, and I have been so relieved of a great, great burden and filled with much joy.  I had sent this person the Word of the Lord that He was remembering old covenant and contracts and giving second chances.

THE GRAND FINALE VERSE PULLS IT ALL TOGETHER

Isa 49:13-21 NKJV

Sing, O heavens! Be joyful, O earth! And break out in singing, O mountains! For the Lord has comforted His people, And will have mercy on His afflicted. 14 But Zion said, "The Lord has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten me."  15 "Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you. 16 See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me. 17 Your sons shall make haste; Your destroyers and those who laid you waste Shall go away from you. 18 Lift up your eyes, look around and see; All these gather together and come to you. As I live," says the Lord, "You shall surely clothe yourselves with them all as an ornament, And bind them on you as a bride does.

19 "For your waste and desolate places, And the land of your destruction, Will even now be too small for the inhabitants; And those who swallowed you up will be far away. 20 The children you will have, After you have lost the others, Will say again in your ears, 'The place is too small for me; Give me a place where I may dwell.' 21 Then you will say in your heart, 'Who has begotten these for me, Since I have lost my children and am desolate, A captive, and wandering to and fro? And who has brought these up? There I was, left alone; But these, where were they?'"

22 Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, I will lift My hand in an oath to the nations, And set up My standard for the peoples; They shall bring your sons in their arms, And your daughters shall be carried on their shoulders; 23 Kings shall be your foster fathers, And their queens your nursing mothers; They shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, And lick up the dust of your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord, For they shall not be ashamed who wait for Me."  24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, Or the captives of the righteous be delivered?  25 But thus says the Lord: "Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children. 26 I will feed those who oppress you with their own flesh, And they shall be drunk with their own blood as with sweet wine. All flesh shall know That I, the Lord, am your Savior, And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."

WORD TO PONDER:  I HAVE REMEMBERED AND I WILL RESTORE  12/13/10

Though you may have felt forsaken through delays and waiting, I will never forget you!  I AM ever mindful of My covenants with you.  I have remembered ALL My promises to you, My dear beloveds.  I have promised you reconciliations with your families.  I have promised you recompense of lost inheritances and heritage.  I will recover what was stolen and lost for I have redeemed you with My great love.  My wonderful works in your past are remembered, for I AM gracious and full of compassion.  I have declared to My people the power and display of My works and will restore your losses.  I AM remembering all my covenants with you and want you to remember, also.   Finally, My dearest parents, I know your prayers over your children are on the top of your hearts.  Be assured that they are on the top of Mine, also.

Ps 111:4-6 NKJV

He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and full of compassion.  He has given food to those who fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant.  He has declared to His people the power of His works, in giving them the heritage of the nations.

UPDATE CONFIRMATION:  Today I received a very precious gift.  On the day I posted the above, one of my readers had gone shopping for after Christmas sales.  She found 3 lovely Christmas ornaments and then read the post after she got home.  She sent me one of them and this is what it said on the ornament, as written by the company that made the ornament:  "The Lord Remembers and Restores.  I Have Not Left You.  I Am Remembering You.  1/11/11."

How the Lord goes to such length to love us with His everlasting love and promises!
