The gift of
prayer over betrayal 11/04/09
Today when I read the following scripture, I sadly
remembered a time when I was betrayed.
John 13:18-19 NKJV
"I do not speak concerning all of you. I know whom I
have chosen; but that the Scripture may be fulfilled,
'He who eats bread with Me has lifted up his heel
Then I heard the Lord say:
HEARD: The gift of prayer.
REVELATION: I have heard Him say that same
phrase to me many times throughout the years in regards
to this situation. NOW I understand it, as I turned
with anointed hands to the following:
Job 42:8 NKJV
My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept
him, lest I deal with you according to your folly;
because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My
servant Job has."
Job 22:27-30 NKJV
You will make your prayer to Him, He will hear you,
And you will pay your vows.
28 You will also declare a thing, And it will be
established for you; So light will shine on your ways.
29 When they cast you down, and you say, 'Exaltation
will come!' Then He will save the humble person. 30 He
will even deliver one who is not innocent ; Yes, he will
be delivered by the purity of your hands."
ponder: when you are betrayed 11/07/09
I was betrayed and how deeply I understand the pain. I
knew ahead of time that I would be betrayed and I
understood whose heart was not right. My Father kept
nothing from Me. Even so I tell you that a servant is
not greater than his master. If they persecuted Me,
they will you too. You are called to be an overcomer as
you walk in My footsteps.
One of the strongest weapon you have is overcoming evil
with good. Pray for those who are not innocent and who
despitefully use you. As you walk purely before Me, I
hear your prayers for those whose hearts are not right.
As you forgive them and pray for them, I will hear your
heart’s desires that they come into My image and repent
of their deeds so that My kingdom will come to pass in
Ps 41:9 NKJV
Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, who
ate my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.
Matt 26:23-25 NKJV
He answered and said, "He who dipped his hand with Me
in the dish will betray Me. The Son of Man indeed goes
just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by
whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good
for that man if he had not been born." Then Judas, who
was betraying Him, answered and said, "Rabbi, is it I?"
He said to him, "You have said it."
John 15:20-21 NKJV
Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is
not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me,
they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they
will keep yours also. But all these things they will do
to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him
who sent Me.
Matt 5:44-48 NKJV
But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who
curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for
those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that
you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes
His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain
on the just and on the unjust. For if you love those
who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax
collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren
only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the
tax collectors do so? Therefore you shall be perfect,
just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
