THE CLOCK IS TICKING  11/21/10

Today I moved the battery clock in the living room to a wall above my chair so that I could have room for Christmas decorations.  On the other wall on my right was the other ticking clock.  Suddenly I was surrounded on both sides to clocks ticking in synch.  It was so loud and nerve wracking I found myself clenching my teeth to the rhythm and finally had to move them to other rooms for the season.  Immediately I had found peace like I had not "heard" in a long time!

QUICKENED MEMORY:  One of the ways God speaks is to place emphasis via literal volume on something said or heard.  I have been in grocery stores and suddenly I will hear a phrase of what someone says who is many feet away from me, and it is quickened to my ears.  I felt the Lord was suddenly emphasizing His clock, because I knew this way He speaks through increased volume.  I was reminded of this scripture when I was pondering the loudness of the clocks.

John 9:4 NKJV

I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.  As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

God TV

WOW, tonight Nathan Morris said, the clock is ticking.  And then he began to say, "Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick..."  He said it long enough that I realized it was a total confirmation to my ticking clocks today.  Then he mentioned that every moment the clock is ticking.  "Are we living for eternity as though it was our last day on earth?"

CONFIRMATION:  11/15/10

I was at a family party and someone said that sometimes his nerves are so bad that he cant stand noise.  I immediately thought of the clicking clocks and it was quickened to me.

CONFIRMATION:  11/29/10  DOWN TO THE WIRE

Andrea posted a word about the phrase "DOWN TO THE WIRE".  The cliché phrase means "until the very last moment that it is possible to do something, coming from as in a horse race, the wire is a metal thread that marks the finishing line."

HEARD:  We need to tell her, its running late.  We don't have a lot of time.

WORD TO PONDER:  DO MY WORKS WHILE IT IS YET DAY  11/21/10

Dearest hearts, My clock is ticking and every moment that passes, midnight draws nigh when no man can work.  Take advantage of every moment you have to pray, seek My face and plant My kingdom on earth.  I AM the Father Farmer Who waits long for the harvest.  Every seed planted will bear fruit, and I have long awaited My good crop.  Plant your seeds as much and as often as you can. For generations yet to come, even in the millennium will eat of your fruit.

John 9:4 NKJV

I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.  As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
