RHEMA 2/03/09  TEAMS, PLEASE DON’T FIGHT

HEARD:  Now listen.  What not to do. Dont fight.  Just be good, kind.  What they  did wrong.

PIX:  I saw a pair of hands clasped that were dancing..

HEARD:  Dont push.  If he’s quiet, let him be. 

HEARD:  Please be kind, don’t rewind!

PARABLE:  In my “olden days” when I rented movie tapes, they had a little sticker on them that said, “Be kind, Rewind.”  In this case the Lord is telling us DON’T REWIND and return to old habits and repeat old tapes in our minds, thoughts, soul, heart, and flesh habits.  Work together with those the Lord has yoked you with, and be considerate and allow one another space.  Do not return to old strivings of the flesh.

DEFINE CASSETTE TAPES

Old tapes are old thought life that is playing re-runs.  Get rid of the old tapes and move forward into the mind of Christ.

SYNONYMS:  Going in circles, wandering, wavering, looking backwards, no hope, no growth, not advancing.

Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
