TANGIBLE VIRTUE

Luke 8:45-46 KJV

And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

MY TESTIMONY ABOUT FEELING VIRTUE

I wrote about the night when the Lord endued me with His power from upon high: {Ears2Hear, "Endued With Power"} At that time, I heard the Lord's booming voice say, "Daughter, you are anointed" and it was like a million jolts of electricity surging through me. Since that day, I have become very sensitive to His tangible Presence.

His anointing within is like a magnet in me that responds when He is near. I can feel His Presence while in worship, or when I am around someone else who is anointed, as well as when His Presence is strong in a meeting or in a house.

Sometimes when the anointing is strong in the room, I can feel a gentle form of the same power that I felt that day, running down my arms, through my hands and into the person I am touching and praying for. Sometimes, I can also feel if they are not receiving this and I get the backwash of their blessing!

I know without a doubt that when Jesus perceived "virtue" coming out of Him, that this is literally tangible and can be felt. After praying or worshipping in the Lord’s Presence, if I am laying down at total rest, sometimes I can feel the anointing pulse through my veins. It is almost like the surging of blood through the veins, only it is more peaceful like gentle electricity surging through my cells. These surges can also vary in intensity and type depending upon the level of His Presence. Sometimes it is like warm waves of hot oil, sometimes like floods of love flowing. His Presence washes over me in wave after wave.

His Presence can move from one place to another, like your back to your arms, to your toe, to your legs. There was a season when I felt Him in my feet every time the Lord's Presence came strongly into our worship meetings. This went on for several months, then it rose and came up my legs. I experienced Ezekiels 47’s river many times up to different depths on my legs. His Presence can wash over your entire being in warm tingles, burst of heat, blasts of power, in involuntary body movements as well as causing surges of emotions. It can get very radical and powerful and the poor body just shakes and quivers and vibrates and bounces!

I am discovering that the Lord is gradually acclimatizing us to His Presence and power. The Presence of the Lord is very distracting and if one is to minister, the most natural thing is to just want to stay there for the rest of one’s life and not accomplish anything except just soak and love Him! The priests had to learn to stand in His Presence to minister, and so do we. From what I have heard of those who have gone to the throne room, the people in heaven experience this all the time, especially during worship! The Lord has been gracious enough to release this precious gift upon earth.

We have a most totally radical, cool thing about this as our promise: When we lay hands on the unbelievers on the streets and in the malls, THEY are going to feel what we are feeling! They will be totally blown away by this new level of prayer offered by His people. What awesome times are coming to us all! I can hardly wait.

I used to read some things about a lady who loved to pray for people and when she disobeyed the Lord, He wouldn't let her pray for anyone. I couldn't understand the impact of this, until I started experiencing His Presence during prayer. The person who is laying hands on others gets to experience His Presence too and you don't want to leave or do anything else!!! You can stand there all day and pray for people. The love of the Lord is certainly gracious to think of these things. He has reserved an awesome anointing for His people to experience and then be sent forth in these last days!

WORD TO PONDER: MY TANGIBLE PRESENCE

How precious are the feet of those that carry My good news to a hurting world! How I long to kiss those feet with My loving embrace and touch. I AM about to kiss My people with the power of My Presence like never before. I have special anointings reserved for My last day army that will turn the world upside down with the touch of My love.

These shall be My feet, My hands, My mouth, My eyes, and My heart as they go forth upon the land. My virtue shall be loosed through their touch, and many of them shall also experience My tangible power. Deep pain shall be gone in an instant, and in the next moment great eruptions of joy shall explode like fountains from deep within. Healings on the inside and out shall burst forth as the electrical current of My Presence charges the most weary of cells.

My sons shall feel My anointing, even as My Son felt virtue leave His body. My Presence shall lead them, My Presence shall comfort them, My Presence shall embrace them, My Presence shall explode them into places they never thought possible. I will turn the seeds of their sufferings and sacrifices into a great and beautiful harvest of My love. Hearts shall burst aflame as I ignite My people with the passion of My love through the kisses of My power.
