A Smile that Lasts

RHEMA 2/2/96

RANDOM KINDNESS: Today on an errand, as I was pulling out of a driveway, I saw a crippled boy walking home from school. As I backed up, letting him pass, he looked up at me and gave me the most pure, sweet, self-conscious, humble and grateful grin. I was so touched I became teary. I prayed life long prayers over him until my heart eased up for him.

[Then last night as I was getting ready for bed]

HEARD: Offering. Accomplished.

[Lord what?]

HEARD: Here, let me pray for you. Accomplished.

WORD TO PONDER 2/2/96 SECRET PRAYERS

I hear every prayer you pray over strangers you see on the street. They are not forgotten and all that you have ever spoken is being tallied and dispensed.

“Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.” (Ex 23:9 KJV)
