Today I was praying over sending the Word of the Lord to a person who had made efforts in the past to restrain my hand in giving God’s Word.  [Lord do You want me to send the Word?]

HEARD:  To the degree {name} has listened.  {Name} has fought Me too sweetheart, not just you.

QUICKENED 7/11/08:  Dennie Cline said that one time during renewal meetings the power of God was so strong and the Lord was using him in praying for people and they were so hungry and desperate to receive His touch.  Someone came up to him while he was praying and kept telling him to stop, what he was doing was wrong.

Dennie turned to him and the Lord opened his mouth and filled it.  Dennie did not even know it was a scripture.  He said that “In Luke 1:53, those who are desperate and hungry for God, He is filling with good things, but the rich He sends away empty.  So you might as well leave!”  This was really quickened to me as what the Lord means about seeking and finding, and levels of hunger for Him.  We get exactly what we need from Him.

Luke 1:52-53 NKJV

He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted the lowly. He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty.

As I was thinking about this, I remembered how many times the Lord says to seek Him and pursue Him.  I am remembering when virtue came out of Jesus.  Jesus didnt go to the woman with the issue of blood, nor did He give anything to her.  She pursued Him and drew out of Him what was resident within Him.

Luke 8:45-48  NKJV

And Jesus said, "Who touched Me ?" When all denied it, Peter and those with him said, "Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, 'Who touched Me ?'"   46 But Jesus said, "Somebody touched Me , for I perceived power going out from Me."  47 Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.  48 And He said to her, "Daughter, be of good cheer; your faith has made you well. Go in peace."

Deut 4:27-31 NKJV

And the LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the LORD will drive you. 28 And there you will serve gods, the work of men's hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. 29 But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. 30 When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the LORD your God and obey His voice 31(for the LORD your God is a merciful God), He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.

Ps 34:10 NKJV

But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

Ps 69:32-33 NKJV

The humble shall see this and be glad; And you who seek God, your hearts shall live.  33 For the LORD hears the poor, And does not despise His prisoners.
