SEARCHING FOR FOOD
DREAM 10/18/08: I was in a school where there
were lots of hallways and rooms but the school was empty
so far. I was getting hungry and so I asked an angel in
the hallway if there was a place for a quick bite to eat
like a kiosk. The angel was at the very other end of
the hall and had poked his head around the corner,
anticipating my need and question. He shook his head
yes, then pantomimed and pointed down the stairs and
then to the right. He had a very cheerful countenance
and smiled really big.
I went down there and the stairs looked too steep for
me with my body pain issues and I looked back and said,
are you SURE there is food down there? He smiled poked
his head again around the corner to help me, and shook
his head YES. So I slide down the banister and went to
the right. There was a double entrance way completely
opened to a nice sit down restaurant. I hesitated
because I did not know if I wanted to take the time to
sit down and eat!
Matt 5:6 NKJV
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for
righteousness, For they shall be filled.
John 6:35 NKJV
And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He
who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes
in Me shall never thirst.
That is exactly where I have been in building the new
school, very hungry to hear from the Lord, but not
having the time or giving the time to the Lord for my
morning times with Him. I had actually been hearing
from Him at night during the month, but was too busy to
type it in and sup with Him in regards to it. I rarely
remember what I hear and see at night unless I type it
in and spend time with Him. I began to really whine
about it, and started asking to hear from Him and the
above dream was His response. I found that once I typed
in my rhema I had wonderful meals waiting for me!
TEACHING
QUESTION ONE: How did I know it was an angel?
Many have seen angels in their dreams without realizing
it. That is because ministering angels look like
humans. The main difference is that their countenance
is loving, peaceful and kind. The angel was smiling and
eager to help. The role of angels is to be there to
help us get to our destination in the Lord. They are
here on earth to minister to us and usually appear very
friendly and helpful.
Heb 13:2 NLT
Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers, for
some who have done this have entertained angels without
realizing it!
Heb 1:14 AMP
Are not the angels all ministering spirits (servants)
sent out in the service [of God for the assistance] of
those who are to inherit salvation?
QUESTION TWO: Why was the angel pantomiming?
1. The word “sign” language is quickened to me.
Pantomiming is a series of gestures or sign language. I
feel this action points to the idea that we are now
living in a time when God will be speaking through signs
and wonders.
Acts 14:3 NKJV
Therefore they stayed there a long time, speaking
boldly in the Lord, who was bearing witness to the word
of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by
their hands.
2. Because sometimes the details of our spiritual
experiences can also represent our level of intimacy
with the Lord. This angel was far away, not up front,
close, personal. Not eye to eye. He was not speaking
face to face. However I was not abandoned, he was
there!
The distance of the angel represented how I was feeling
in my relationship with the Lord. I was swamped in work
and although I was constantly praying for help in the
software, and receiving it, and I was also continuing to
hear and see at night, I was not receiving anything out
of it because I was not spending any sit down time with
Him during the day. I was just pressing through
straight uphill until I got the breakthrough.
3. Because of the level of receptivity, or level of
faith.
Matt 13:58 NKJV
Now He did not do many mighty works there because of
their unbelief.
There has been a lot of internet persecution of the
prophetic when they talk about the ministry of angels.
Angels are allowed to minister to the degree we allow
them into our lives. We need to be grateful for every
kind of help and helper God sends our way.
Neither do we worship angels, we worship the Lord and
cling to the Lord for His help. Paul also warned us of
keeping the gospel of Jesus Christ unchanged.
Col 2:17-19
Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight
in false humility and worship of angels , intruding into
those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by
his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from
whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints
and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
Gal 1:6-9 NLT
I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from
God, who in his love and mercy called you to share the
eternal life he gives through Christ. You are already
following a different way 7 that pretends to be the Good
News but is not the Good News at all. You are being
fooled by those who twist and change the truth
concerning Christ. 8 Let God's curse fall on anyone,
including myself, who preaches any other message than
the one we told you about. Even if an angel comes from
heaven and preaches any other message, let him be
forever cursed. 9 I will say it again: If anyone
preaches any other gospel than the one you welcomed, let
God's curse fall upon that person.
Many years ago I went through a season where I was first
hearing angels and I worried about it, and started to
ignore and turn this gift off. I became very sifted in
the whole thing. Finally I had a dream where I was
driving around a corner and slid over to the side of the
road backwards. A team of angels came to help get my
car back on the road again. They came to my window, and
started pantomiming that they were there to help me.
They were so kind and friendly to me in their faces and
gestures. But they did not say a thing! In the dream I
knew exactly why they were not speaking,
because I had turned them away. And yet there was not
one look of disapproval or judgment; only God’s love and
pleasure to serve and help me get going again.
Speaking about persecution in regards to seeing/ hearing
angels, there are some that do not believe there are
female looking angels. Above all, we do not generate
new doctrines from spiritual experiences without
scripture backing.
Here are the scriptures.
Zech 5:9-11 NKJV
Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two
women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had
wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the
basket between earth and heaven. So I said to the angel
who talked with me, "Where are they carrying the
basket?" And he said to me, "To build a house for it in
the land of Shinar; when it is ready, the basket will be
set there on its base."
Matt 22:30 AMP
For in the resurrected state neither do [men] marry nor
are [women] given in marriage, but they are like the
angels in heaven.
4. Because sometimes angels are used as signs to point
the way.
Isa 30:20-21 NKJV
Yet your teachers will not be moved into a corner
anymore, But your eyes shall see your teachers . Your
ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the
way, walk in it," Whenever you turn to the right hand
Or whenever you turn to the left. What did the
environment of the angel communicate?

Before I spoke, he was anticipating my need by popping
his head around the corner when I turned back to ask to
be reassured. I think the detail that he was at a
corner where the 2 school hallways met, was relevant to
the above scripture, that in these last days God will
manifest angelic and human helpers more and more...
especially when we are at a crossroads and need help in
making the turn in the right direction.
5. God was not mad at me. Angels are from the spirit
world and do not usually communicate with sound in the
voice, it is usually via the Spirit, like to the mind in
the same way conversations take place in dreams.
However the following possibility also came to me: In
the natural or in the “flesh” it would have required a
normal person to raise their voice in order to
communicate that distance. The Lord brought this
scripture into remembrance:
Isa 42:4 NKJV
"Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in
whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He
will bring forth justice to the Gentiles. 2 He will not
cry out, nor raise His voice ,Nor cause His voice to be
heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed He will not break,
And smoking flax He will not quench; He will bring forth
justice for truth. 4 He will not fail nor be
discouraged, Till He has established justice in the
earth; And the coastlands shall wait for His law."
To me it was a reminder that God doesn’t yell at me and
He was not mad at me. I had spent 6-8 weeks away from
catching up on typing my rhema and really spending
priority time with Him. I was climbing straight up hill
in the learning curve, crying out to Him day and night
for His help, and was amazed to notice His supernatural
help the whole way through. It was a wonderful comfort
to my soul and faith.
However I was feeling very guilty that I was not
spending my normal time with Him in the mornings. I
knew I had a window of time to get it done, before my
rhema ran out that was Pending on line, and so I knew I
had to cover a lot of territory in short amount of
time. Towards the end, the condemnation I was trying to
overcome with staying away was increasing, and my soul
was also very weary. I missed our time together
terribly and started really whining to hear Him. I
became so sifted with the whole process I actually
wondered if I was going to lose my watchman’s position!
By that time I knew I had to STOP.
This dream was such an amazing, loving balm to my soul.
That angel’s smile of encouragement was so loving, there
was simply not one ounce of condemnation or correction
at all. It was a good parable that the distance between
us was definitely a “sign” to my relationship with the
Lord at the time. But even though I could not see the
Lord, He was readily there the moment I called.
REVELATION: I think the following scripture is a
wonderful key because we have now entered a time on the
earth when He will be bringing forth His justice upon
the earth. It will be a fearful and awe-filled time to
be alive upon the earth, where we will each learn the
fear of the Lord and His Word. And yet His mercy to
protect a flower from getting crushed is tender and
humble as He bends down low to lift us up.

QUESTION THREE: Why was the restaurant downstairs
instead of the school level?
Going to lower places to me represents humbling
oneself. To ask, seek, search, knock, beg, etc all
represent admitting a need, and humbling oneself to
request help. To humble oneself is the opposite of an
independent spirit who can do it without help.
Rev 3:17-20 NKJV
Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and
have need of nothing ' — and do not know that you are
wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked — 18 I
counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire,
that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may
be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be
revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you
may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten.
Therefore be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at
the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens
the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and
he with Me.
Lower or basement levels can represent foundations and
also servant hood.
1 Cor 3:11 NKJV
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that
which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Matt 23:11-12 NKJV
But he who is greatest among you shall be your
servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled,
and he who humbles himself will be exalted.
Luke 14:7-11 NKJV
So He told a parable to those who were invited, when
He noted how they chose the best places, saying to them:
8 "When you are invited by anyone to a wedding feast, do
not sit down in the best place, lest one more honorable
than you be invited by him; 9 and he who invited you
and him come and say to you, 'Give place to this man,'
and then you begin with shame to take the lowest place.
10 But when you are invited, go and sit down in the
lowest place, so that when he who invited you comes he
may say to you, 'Friend, go up higher.' Then you will
have glory in the presence of those who sit at the table
with you. 11 For whoever exalts himself will be
humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."
The phrase “a basement” is a word pun for abasement.
