SAUL VS THE GIFTS AND CALLING ARE WITHOUT REPENTANCE  4/07/11

The scripture does say the gifts and calling are without repentance.  However it does not say that the gifts and CHOOSING are without repentance.  A calling is an invitation. Many are called or invited and few are chosen, there is a difference.

Rom 11:29 KJV

For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

NT:5486 GIFTS

charisma (khar'-is-mah); from NT:5483; a (divine) gratuity, i.e. deliverance (from danger or passion); (specifically) a (spiritual) endowment, i.e. (subjectively) religious qualification, or (objectively) miraculous faculty:

KJV - (free) gift.

NT:2821  CALLING

klesis (klay'-sis); from a shorter form of NT:2564; an invitation (figuratively):

KJV - calling.

NT:2564

kaleo (kal-eh'-o); akin to the base of NT:2753; to "call" (properly, aloud, but used in a variety of applications, dir. or otherwise):

KJV - bid, call (forth), (whose, whose sur-) name (was [called]).

NT:278  REPENTANCE

ametameletos (am-et-am-el'-ay-tos); from NT:1 (as a negative particle) and a presumed derivative of NT:3338; irrevocable:

KJV - without repentance, not to be repented of.

In Saul's case, he was clearly anointed with a calling.

1 Sam 15:1-2 NKJV

Samuel also said to Saul, "The Lord sent me to anoint you king over His people, over Israel. Now therefore, heed the voice of the words of the Lord. 2

1 Sam 10:1 NKJV

Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him and said: "Is it not because the Lord has anointed you commander over His inheritance?

And God clearly repented of making Saul king.

1 Sam 15:35  KJV

And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the Lord repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.

When I compare Saul's having been called - his calling was not revoked, as being called means to be invited.  Saul's calling (or invitation) was to be anointed as king.  And that invitation once offered by God, was not revoked. In invitation remains an invitation.  However Saul was chosen, and his being chosen was later revoked.

Matt 22:14 NKJV

"For many are called, but few are chosen."

NT:1588  CHOSEN

eklektos (ek-lek-tos'); from NT:1586; select; by implication, favorite:

KJV - chosen, elect.

John Paul Jackson says that God has released His gifts into the earth and they will not be taken away... and that both the counterfeit (like warlocks) and righteous use these gifts for either good or evil.

Ps 68:18 NKJV

You have ascended on high, You have led captivity captive; You have received gifts among men, Even from the rebellious, That the Lord God might dwell there.

Eph 4:7-8  AMP

Yet grace (God's unmerited favor) was given to each of us individually [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christ's [rich and bounteous] gift.  8 Therefore it is said, When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive [He led a train of vanquished foes] and He bestowed gifts on men. [Ps 68:18.]

That really surprised me when I heard him say that and was hard for me to get a grip on, since I have believed that the spiritual gifts are from the Holy Spirit.  But when I looked up gifts (above) it only says spiritual endowment, it doesn't qualify what S(s)pirit is being used to access the gifts.  The only gift that satan had is what he was given by God when he was in heaven, and since his fall, he corrupted them with evil.

Annie's visions speaks that God has created man to be connected with something spiritual.  And if the connection between a man's spiritual ties is broken, then they will immediately search to find another spiritual connection to take it's place.  This is certainly true in Saul's case when after God refused to speak to him, Saul turned to witch.

1 Chron 10:13-14 NKJV

So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the Lord, because he did not keep the word of the Lord, and also because he consulted a medium for guidance.

EXCERPT FROM ANNIE'S VISIONS BOOK 4, PAGE 96

Concerning the Storm

"For His own ones God provided many entrances into a positive place - a place of strength and forces, these forces helped His children pass through the entrances and brought forth important changes and improvements in them.

In a further scene I saw attachments or fastenings, as it were, in the spiritual sphere which connected up with spiritual forces.  Man cannot exist without being connected to a spiritual force.  Some at first were connected to God by their spiritual fastenings, but later, their connections became broken.  When those connections and bindings with God were broken, they reconnected in the spiritual realm, not with God, but with the enemy.  Thus they were connected once again and were able to exist; however, now they were bound to the powers of darkness."

QUICKENED WARNING:  I have noticed that when the Lord changes seasons, it is sometimes very radical where the old is completely cut off and let go of, in order to make room for the new.  This can mean a changing of the guards in the angels that keep us, and also filter into our relationship with God in changes of what He says and how He says it.  We always keep scripture as a foundation, but relationships should grow and be progressive.  This is an important concept to understand because if we hold onto our old ways, then if He moves and we dont, it makes us vulnerable to being deceived because we search for a replacement of what was.  We must always search for the Lord and where He is going, and not search for a replacement to keep what has moved on.

As a side bar, I am reminded of the many old denominations that once had revivals sweep through their midst but when the Spirit left, due to being grieved and rejected, many stayed with the denomination that settled and became stone; they did not follow His river to new life in Him.  They accepted tradition and culture as a substitute that became whitewashed tombs.

PRAYER:  Lord grant us courage to move when You say to move on.  When You cut off branches that did not bear good fruit, give us wisdom to cling to and abide in You as our Source.  Keep us from finding substitutes that replace You, Your ways, Your Word.  Keep us in the callings You have chosen for us, and may we be found faithful to be Your friends for You are the Author and Finisher of our faith.

John 15:1-8 NKJV

"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.  2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.  3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.  4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.  6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.  7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.  8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
