THE "SCHOOL" OF FISH

DREAM: Wayne was an adoptive parent for a child who wanted to learn to fish. Wayne taught him how to fish on the computer.

My dad had not taught me how to fish so Grandma Anna took his place and helped me learn the various fishing skills.

HEARD: You also have been taught in a learning place. Having been there yourself.

SANDY COMMENT: This dream and phrase is riddled dark speech. The meaning is that as I have been learning from the Lord by experience, I also am a teacher passing on what I have learned. As I am teaching, I am also learning.

DREAM: Someone asked me where my son was. He had taken the other fork of the same river that I was on. Suddenly I was at my destination and I saw a small group of teenagers swimming under water with the current and quite fast. They looked just like a school of fish. My son was with them. I stuck my right big toe in the water and waved it to him as he was swimming by. The youth all popped up to see me and my son grinned because he just knew that was my big toe!

The right big toe (and right thumb) represents those who are set apart for the Lord.

WORD TO PONDER: ADOPTIVE PARENTS

I am raising up godly teachers who will be like adoptive parents. There will be a huge demand for their teaching gifts when the fish net is full of new believers and is emptied out. You have heard the old adage, "Give a person a fish, and he has food for a day. Teach a person to fish, and he has food for a lifetime." This is My heart.

This teaching concept is the opposite of lectures and theories. Instead it is "how to learning," by being teaching examples and letting the students learn by having their own similar experiences. The young will learn My ways and voice by watching these parents model their own relationship with Me, then they will mimic it themselves until they develop their own skills. My precious fish will learn quickly and be able to maneuver in fast waters.

I will bond the adoptive parents with their children and visa versa. There will be great nurturing and appreciation sent straight from My own heart and living through My own ones.

"Listen, my child, to what your father teaches you. Don't neglect your mother's teaching. What you learn from them will crown you with grace and clothe you with honor." (Prov 1:8-9 NLT)
