READER’S DREAM 12/09/09:  RAINING ON OUR BRAINS

Before I woke up this morning, I felt like water - I mean a lot of water was being poured on my head and face.  I  was sleeping on my left side and water was pouring all over my head and face, dripping down, like I was on an elevated position, like if you have your head in the shower.

I tried to wake up, but I heard myself thinking; Lord if this is from You, continue doing what You doing and went right back to sleep. This dream was so vivid, so real!

When I read her dream, Bob Jone’s Word came to mind.

THE COMING RAIN
Bob was awakened at 2:22 A.M. to hear the Spirit say, "I am going to rain on the brain of My people". It is important to the Lord that during the course of this year that we begin to possess the mind of Christ and the mind of Christ possess us. Part of the emphasis for this year will be the intellectual side of man and the importance of bringing every thought into captivity to the Obedience of Christ.

As it is stated in Ezekiel 36, the Lord is going to sprinkle clean water upon us that we may be made clean. He is going to cleanse us of all filthiness and idolatry so that our minds would become "good soil" for the seed of the Word of God that is forthcoming. Revelations 22:2 states AND ON EITHER SIDE OF THE RIVER WAS THE TREE OF LIFE, BEARING 12 KINDS OF FRUIT, YIELDING ITS FRUIT EVERY MONTH; AND THE LEAVES OF THE TREE WERE FOR THE HEALING OF THE NATIONS.

The purpose for this rain is to nurture the seed of the word of God so that we would bear heavenly fruit revealing the redemptive attributes of the Lord. Once we recognize the power of the Lord's redemptive qualities we then can allow our minds to reign in the midst of turmoil.

Isaiah 55:10-11 FOR AS THE RAIN AND THE SNOW COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN, AND DO NOT RETURN THERE WITHOUT WATERING THE EARTH, AND MA KING IT BEAR AND SPROUT, AND FURNISHING SEED TO THE SOWER AND BREAD TO THE EATER; SO SHALL MY WORD BE WHICH GOES FORTH FROM MY MOUTH; IT SHALL NOT RETURN TO ME EMPTY, WITHOUT ACCOMPLISHING WHAT I DESIRE, AND WITHOUT SUCCEEDING IN THE MATTER FOR WHICH I SENT IT.

Through this, the Lord is also extending the invitation for intimate relationship on a much higher level. It is as though the Lord is extending an invitation to dine with Him and He with us in order to acquaint ourselves through this intimate fellowship on a much more personal level.

The number "2" is also symbolic for witness, testimony and friendship. It is representative of incarnation. God coming in the form of flesh to reveal Himself to mankind.
