GOD SPEAKS THROUGH QUICKENED SIGNS

QUICKENED SIGN: Gut instinct. Years of research. Same decision.

Today while I was praying over discernment issues, I drove past a new freeway billboard. It said, “Gut instinct. Years of research. Same decision.” I felt this could be interpreted that even if I attended years of meetings and did years of research that it would end up being the same conclusion as just my original gut level instinct in things I discern.

Rom 2:15-16 NKJV

...who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them)...

Rom 2:15 AMP

They show that the essential requirements of the Law are written in their hearts and are operating there, with which their consciences (sense of right and wrong) also bear witness; and their [moral] decisions (their arguments of reason, their condemning or approving thoughts) will accuse or perhaps defend and excuse [them]..

QUICKENED WORDS: [from billboard] Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly.

QUICKENED SIGN: The definition of a laugh: A smile that has burst.

COMMENT: I was reminded of a Word I'd received from the Lord several years ago. I heard Him say, "Burst through the door laughing!" I can see that it was a literal promise for now in the bursting forth in the birth of His Isaac generation. (Isaac means laughter.)

Gen 17:17-18 NKJV

Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed , and said in his heart, "Shall a child be born to a man who is one hundred years old? And shall Sarah , who is ninety years old, bear a child?"

Gen 21:4-7 NKJV

Now Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him. 6 And Sarah said,"God has made me laugh , and all who hear will laugh with me." 7 She also said, "Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? For I have borne him a son in his old age."

QUICKENED SIGN: Today on the way home from church there was a license plate that said “P Lady.” Then her bumper sticker said, “On the last trump I'm outta here!”

It reminded me of the precious song: “I am a Promise, I am a Possibility, I am a Promise, with a capital P. I am a great big bundle of Potentiality. And I am tryin' to hear God's voice, and I am tryin' to make the right choice. I am a great big bundle of Potentiality.”

RHEMA 3/8/02 SIGNS OF LOVE JUST FOR YOU

QUICKENED SIGN: Today Wayne & I went to the public market to find the bubble wands. We walked into a unique garden store and there were some homemade house signs. Wayne had a big smile on his face and called me over and I read this:

I was reminded of the question that Wayne asked me a few weeks ago, and that was what I thought I was called for, sent for, or the reason I got up every day. I told him it was the Word the Lord told me long ago, “Have fun raising the children.” I told him that I felt that meant feeding the children and teaching them how God speaks.

WORD TO PONDER: A SIGN WAITING FOR YOU 3/8/02

I have given you signs that point your way in a fallen world. Listen to My voice, for it shall suddenly speak in the most unlikely places. It is there as you listen that you will know My tangible love and remember My love for you. I have many wonderful delights waiting for you in your daily journeys, if you take time to listen. In these surprises I will give you food to ponder that will strengthen and nourish you along the way.
