RHEMA 3/04/10 PURPOSE OF
SHAKING
HEARD: Shake. Why? To
let go and let God.
Heb
12:25-29 NKJV
See
that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did
not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more
shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks
from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now
He has promised, saying, "Yet once more I shake not
only the earth, but also heaven." Now this, "Yet once
more," indicates the removal of those things that are
being shaken, as of things that are made, that the
things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore,
since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken,
let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably
with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a
consuming fire.

4/02/09 LEARNING TO LET GO AND LET GOD
HEARD:
I am thrilled that you finally let go. It was your
decision sweetheart. It had to be yours.
UPDATE
4/14/09 STRESS MANAGEMENT
“A
lecturer when explaining stress management to an
audience, raised a glass of water and asked "How heavy
is this glass of water?" Answers called out ranged from
20g to 500g. The lecturer replied, "The absolute weight
doesn't matter...It depends on how long you try to hold
it. If I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem. If
I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my right
arm. If I hold it for a day, you'll have to call an
ambulance. In each case, it's the same weight, but the
longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes." He continued,
"If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later,
as the burden becomes increasingly heavy, we won't be
able to carry on." {author unknown}
1 John
5:3-5 NKJV
For
this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments.
And His commandments are not burdensome . For whatever
is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the
victory that has overcome the world - our faith.
Ps
55:22 NKJV
Cast
your burden on the LORD, And He shall sustain you; He
shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

LET GO
AND LET GOD
As
children bring their broken toys,
with tears
for us to mend.
I brought
my broken dreams to God,
because He
was my friend.
But then,
instead of leaving Him
in peace
to work alone,
I hung
around and tried to help,
with ways
that were my own.
At last I
snatched them back and cried,
"How can
You be so slow?"
"My
child," He said, "What could I do?
"You never
did let go."
