PROXIMITY AND DEMONIC MANIFESTATION

The Lord gave me some training where demonic manifestations took place when they were in close proximity to me. Through these experiences, I learned this is a part of discernment, to be sensitive to the environment when we are in public, and to perceive the truth of what is going on behind the scenes in the spirit world.

EXPERIENCE: GROWTH IN SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT

Today at the grocery store I heard a child behind me go "Varoom, varoom" as though he was driving a car. There was nothing wrong with the sound or how the child did this. I had my back to the child, and as soon as he said these words, a spirit came from him that penetrated my sphere and I felt it against my back. I immediately said to myself, "Woa, a violent spirit!" As soon as I said this, his father violently erupted and yelled at him that he was sitting on the bread. The whole store could hear the man as he was very, very angry. I knew the Lord had imparted to me a discernment that was totally supernatural.

EXPERIENCE: TRAINING IN DISCERNMENT & AUTHORITY

Today Wayne and I arrived at the public meeting about FM (Fibromyalgia) a little late. As soon as we walked in and sat down behind a lady, she stood up extremely angry, accusing the leader and the group. It was totally shocking to come into the room and then have it filled with such a violent outburst. One of the things she said was that she was totally cured via nutrition and then challenged why wasn't the meeting a support group when it was supposed to be. The poor leader did not know what to do with this lady's anger.

I couldn't figure it out, if she was totally cured, then why was she at the meeting? Without even thinking, I interrupted her rage and asked her, "If you are cured, then why are you here?" Then Wayne said, "Yah, are you selling something?" She turned around and glared at us. (At least she stopped screaming.)

I couldn't stand being in the room. There were angry spirits flying everywhere because people were so upset and verbally reacting to her outburst. I bound the spirits of anger and strife several times, waited for the poor leader to gain control of the meeting, then told Wayne I couldn't stay in this room, so I stood up and walked out. Just as I was leaving (only about 4 minutes after we arrived) a person in the back said to the angry lady, "I wish you would just leave." The lady got her things and tromped out the door. After the meeting, Wayne told me that he felt she was manifesting a demon and that our presence in such close proximity agitated the spirit and caused all the commotion. I had been thinking the exact same thing.

Later as I was thinking about the experience, I heard the Lord say: Training. Discern.

EXPERIENCE: A DEMON RAGES

Today at the grocery store a couple and their cart were standing directly in front of a product I needed. I waited quite a while for them to make up their minds. Finally I apologized and reached past them to retrieve what I needed. Just as I pulled back with the item in my hand, the man screamed at the poor women. He was red faced and quite furious. She was so taken back by his sudden loud onslaught, that she just stood there with her mouth hanging open and then finally she looked puzzled as though to say, "What on earth did I do to deserve this?" Then she turned bright red because he continued to make a scene and she wanted him to quiet down. He quieted after I left the aisle.

When I pulled away from the shelf in close proximity to him, I felt an evil spirit caused the man to go bonkers through his being so close to the Lord's anointing. I thought about this several times while in the store. I was almost sure that this was what really took place, but I continued to question it. I watched them check out several stands away from me. They appeared peaceful as though nothing was wrong. I left the store prior to them and was loading my car, when suddenly this same man pushed his cart right passed me and this same raging voice started yelling at the poor lady again. I knew.

CHECKER DELIVERED AT CHECK STAND

Today at the grocery store I heard the enemy swear at me and I silently bound and rebuked him while I was standing next in line for the check out. At that moment, the cashier suddenly yawned the biggest yawn I have ever seen, (I have never seen a human jaw open that wide) and her eyes got huge and then she held her head with both hands, saying, "Oh my, I have never yawned like that in my life! I have never yawned so deep! I yawned so deep, I got dizzy!!" She was quite overwhelmed and surprised. I knew she had received deliverance through my silent warfare. I was standing about 4 feet away from her facing directly towards her while I was rebuking the enemy. Afterwards, I silently applied the blood of Jesus over Wayne and myself, then over all the Christians in the store, and commanded that the demon could not go to any Christians. Often when I am in public and hear demons curse me as I pass them. I always rebuke them, but I have never witnessed a deliverance like that before!

WORD TO PONDER: HONING YOUR DISCERNMENT

I have given you the gift of the discerning of spirits, and I want to teach and confirm you. At times, you may recognize a spirit before it manifests. Then it will be confirmed to you when you see it manifest through a person.

There will also be times by your mere presence in a public place, when My Spirit within you will emanate to the spirit world. The demons will become agitated in My presence. This is also a confirmation that you are discerning spirits. As these experiences happen, be aware of your authority over the demonic world for I AM training you for future ministry.

"Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them." (Acts 5:15 KJV)
