RHEMA 1/11/12:  PROVISION FOR THE POOR

EXPERIENCE 1/11/12:  I worked very hard for 2 days getting the updated 1,000 page Word to Ponder file on line - once again for FREE.  I have written 31 books and 1,000s of pages free on line, but the best first fruit offering I have to give to the Lord is my Words to Ponder book.  Today I received a kind AH confirmation from the Lord:

HEARD:  Five.  Feed the poor.  Will you join us for supper?

Matt 15:34-38 NKJV

Jesus said to them, "How many loaves do you have?" And they said, "Seven, and a few little fish."  35 So He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. 36 And He took the seven loaves and the fish and gave thanks, broke them and gave them to His disciples; and the disciples gave to the multitude. 37 So they all ate and were filled, and they took up seven large baskets full of the fragments that were left. 38 Now those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.

CONFIRMATION 1/13/12:    Today someone sent me a Word telling me that my motives were pure in regards to any roots for the love of $.  That really blessed me that the Lord would honor me in such a way.

UPDATE:  A short while later this month we received $1,100 dollars in donations and I did not request a donation or hinted of our need.  I knew this was the Lord’s payback for what I gave away.  Not only that but I have a software update that I need and have been asking the Lord for money for it.

Prov 19:17 NKJV

He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.

RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP  10/09/02

I AM your Source and Provider, and no matter how I provide, it always comes from My goodness to you.  When I place an income into your hands, whether large or small, it is My gift. Even if you earned it by the sweat of your brow, I granted you the strength and the skill and the means to earn that wage.  If income freely comes to you through your rightful harvest, from seeds planted in the past, that is also My multiplying goodness.

When I provide, it is not meant to be a means for your independence.  Too often, wealth undermines dependence upon Me.  Wealth should drive you to exactly the opposite, for with wealth comes great responsibility.  Therefore, I have called you to learn responsible stewardship over all that I provide.  The most important stewardship you can learn is to resist spending money independently from My Spirit, My drawing, My blessing.  If you can learn the lesson of waiting upon Me for direction, and acquire outside counsel for larger expenses, then I can trust you with more.

If you have not learned to be accountable in the smaller matters, how then can I trust you for more?  The devourer would seek to place a hole in your resources.  This is sometimes allowed so that you would learn to lean upon Me in your stewardship of all the inflow and outflow.  I want to make you a blessing for others, so learn your part in becoming responsible.

“I tell you, use your worldly resources to benefit others and make friends. In this way, your generosity stores up a reward for you in heaven.  "Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won't be faithful in large ones.”  (Luke 16:9-10 NLT)
