PRECIOUS MOMENTS:  2/13/09

Today I watched the following video and it made me laugh and giggle in delight!  I had pure, raw joy in experiencing this beautiful gift.

The Lord reminded me that the stereotype in families, is usually the Dad who plays with the kids and the Mom who nurtures with hands on tasks.  This brought into focus how much our Heavenly Father loves to play with us and so deeply enjoys simple interaction to bring us pleasure and joy.   

Let us never become so task oriented that we forget the joy of simple pleasures of just being with the ones we love.

Matt 11:29-30 AMP

Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest ( relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. [Jer 6:16.]  For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good — not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne.
