RHEMA 11/26/13 leaning into the POWERS OF THE AGE TO COME

VISION:  I was traveling somewhere and they were singing Healing, healing, healing in the powers of God.  Someone told me that I was leaning into the powers of God as an abiding place.  I understood in the vision this was the powers of the age to come.

Hebrews 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come…

HEARD:  I attended.

Revelation:  I had a flash understanding that I had attended Katheryn Kulman’s meetings.  (In real life I did attend a couple meetings)

Listen to this, this is Katheryn Kulman:  “It is when we activate faith and dare to believe God to the point of action that something has to happen.” 

The grain of a mustard seed… We say if I had John’s favor, Benny Hinn’s favor.  No, inside of you is the faith of God. That’s true.  God says He has dealt to every man, what?  A measure of faith.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Remember when they did it without steroids?  One time the Lord said, “Watch this.”  I turned it on and there were these great body builders…The Lord said, “Do you see that?”  I said, “Yah.” [Bobby demonstrates jiggling flab to the Lord.]  Then the Lord said, “You have the same number of muscles they do.”  I said, “God I don’t look like that!”  He said, “You would if you exercised.” 

See God’s given us faith, but we look out of shape because we don’t exercise the faith we have.  We are waiting for some great big move. No, start with the faith you have.  It’s don’t take big faith, just pure faith.  Real faith, childlike faith.  The strongest faith we have right now is in children.  Somehow they don’t have the grid to not believe.  They just believe.  That’s what Jesus said, except you become like a little child, you will not enter into the kingdom.

Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

VISION:  I was reading some definitions and one of them said, “Straight as an arrow.” 

HEARD: If you want God to work, invite Him.

SUPER HERO MUSCLES 11/26/13

Today was a Grammy day.  Wayne and I continue to pray over each of our grandkids that the Lord would give them a teachable spirit and I always pray for teachable moments to impart something.  The other side of that prayer is that I always ask that the Lord would speak to me through them.  Our grandson is so prophetic, I always enjoy his pictures and things he says that just amaze me that connect with my rhema.  The last one was when he showed up with a picture of humongous grapes hanging over the top of a tiny Grammy.  Wayne and I had just talked about Canaan’s grapes that morning!

So I took him out to lunch and let him pick the restaurant.  He chose Home Buffet, which he calls Home Depot.  I smiled remembering all my Glory train rhema.  This week I heard “Coming in the future” and then I saw a train arrive and suddenly the doors opened and Jesus popped out and totally surprised me!  It was like a “Ta Da! moment, where He had a big smile and His arms outstretched saying, “I AM here!!!”  I felt His tongue in cheek enjoyment  that He had surprised me like that.  It was a very short and surprising vision.

When I brought my grandson home from our date, his folks were gone so I sat on the couch and he disappeared.  Next thing I know he pops his head up behind the couch to surprise me.  (Just like Jesus in the train!)  I noticed he had changed his clothes.  He had put on a super hero costume, and it had pads sewn into it.  “Oh your cool costume has puffy things!”  “Grammy, those arent puffy things, THOSE ARE MUSCLES!” 

Luke 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him. 10 But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.

WORD TO PONDER:  LEANING INTO THE POWERS OF THE AGE TO COME 11/26/13

I have given each a measure of faith, but faith increases and grows as you reach, as you lean, as you extend yourself to not only hear My Word, but also do it.  Dear one, My Word is written and very clear.  It’s there for you.  With all of your getting, use what you have to extend and spend yourself towards My promises.

Consider Enoch who did not die because he pleased Me.  Consider the meal and the oil never running dry during the days of Elijah’s famine.  Consider the drown ax head that Elisha made to float.  Remember when Peter walked on the water.  Visualize the waters parting when Elisha said, “Where is the God of Elijah?”  Just as Elisha pressed forward to receive, he received the double portion as he requested of Elijah’s mantle.  And Elisha had exactly twice as many miracles as Elijah.  Is there yet even more than that?  Yes My dear ones, it is the powers of the ages to come.  Even more than you can think or imagine prepared for those whom I love.

2 Kings 2:6-25 And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray you, here; for the LORD has sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you. And they both went on. 7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view from afar off: and they both stood by the Jordan. 8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and struck the waters, and they were divided here and there, so that they both went over on dry ground. 9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for you, before I be taken away from you. And Elisha said, I pray you, let a double portion of your spirit be upon me. 10 And he said, You have asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so unto you; but if not, it shall not be so.

11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and separated them both; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and tore them in two pieces. 13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; 14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and struck the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had struck the waters, they parted to the one side and to the other: and Elisha went over.
