RHEMA 12/04/11  OVERCOMING THE SOUL GIANT OF FEAR OF DECEPTION

VISION:  I saw an amphitheater and ballerinas toe dancing on the backs of the seats.  Then I saw a giant beanstalk growing across the theater and up into the sky.  I realized this was Jack and the Beanstalk and the Lord was speaking about a soul giant.

(Yesterday on FB I said the following)

"There is another aspect to this theme (of discernment) that the Lord showed me this morning. To the same degree that we doubt our own ability to hear clearly, is the same degree of faith we have when receiving other people's words - questioning issues of discernment. Many times people who do not hear the Lord at all have more faith to receive other people's words because they have never wrestled with issues of wavering and discernment and they are still naive. It is similar to the old adage, "To the same degree you trust yourself, you trust others."

But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

OVERCOMING FEAR OF DECEPTION  11/03/09

It is true that when you are exposed to supernatural realms, it takes a part of your innocence.  This causes you to feel insecure and without Me, you will be shaken.

Precious heart, I understand your fears of being deceived when being exposed to supernatural testimonies.  I would rather have you carefully praying and leaning on Me than being presumptuous and falling into traps.  If you are independent and presumptuous, ambitious and not leaning on Me, then yes there is reason for concern.

I do not want you to be afraid, because fear opposes faith.  You place the boundaries and limits on your own faith and I will take you as far as you are desiring to go without becoming fearful and unstable.  Have I been faithful to lead you thus far?  Can you look back in your life and believe you have known the One Who loves and watches over you so carefully?  I promised that anyone who asked Me for good gifts, I would not give a stone or a serpent.  So trust that the same One Who has taken care of you thus far will also keep you and not give you over to deception.

Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone?  Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent?  If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!

COMMENTS:  I have recently been snagged with wavering on issues of discerning strong meat in what I and others hear.  It is causing my faith to wobble and interfering with my ability to hear the Lord.  When we waver God grows silent.  Today I realized that the root of this wavering is fear of deception. 

When one begins to pull out a root, he moves the weed back and forth so it will let go of imbedded soil, and that IS the action of wavering.  The movement back and forth makes the impacted hard places flexible, yielded and finally let go and come out.  This is an answer to prayer, because I have been praying that the devil would have no hook in my soul and have nothing in me.

John 14:30 NKJV

You will know when it is time to uproot a weed, when suddenly something within you becomes paramount and shouts for resolution.  These were tiny seeds that have been watered in your life, perhaps through generations.  I have allowed them to grow to climax, in order to preserve My good work in your life.  If I had dealt with these issues sooner, it would have so deeply disturbed the soil of your foundations, that you would not have had the strong roots to be able to hold on to My good plantings within you.

Cry out to Me to uproot the weed that is now full grown.  Precious one, I do NOT condemn you.  I know this issue screams for resolution and you know that it does not measure up to My image.  As you release and yield to Me this part of your soul, hold onto what I have spoken into your life.  I have planted many good plants in you, My beautiful flower.  Do not allow the sifting of a sudden upheaval take the roots of your beauty and sweet smelling fragrance.  Hold onto My Words, hold onto Me, hold onto our intimacy, hold onto My love for you.  Do not allow self condemnation to cause you to let go of what we have held together as precious.

Matt 13:28-30 NLT

" 'Shall we pull out the weeds?' they asked.  "He replied, 'No, you'll hurt the wheat if you do.  Let both grow together until the harvest. Then I will tell the harvesters to sort out the weeds and burn them and to put the wheat in the barn.' "
