ON THE OTHER SIDE OF BETRAYED TRUST  8/08/09

·       Our motives can betray us when we are drawn off the mark.

·       Our expectations and hopes can betray us when they are not fulfilled, and we become disappointed.

·       Our faith can betray us when we trust in God and He doesn’t answer according to our expectations.

·       Loved ones can betray us when they speak intentions that we count on and then they don’t follow through.

·       Our emotions can betray us when we want something that God doesn’t.

·       Our dreams can betray us when they are lost and not recoverable.

·       Our belief in leaders betray us when they are self driven and miss the mark.

·       Our belief in institutions betray us when their goals are found to be only glitter.

·       Our exaltation of the supernatural can betray us when it does not bring us to God.

·       Our bodies betray us when they no longer function the way we need them to function.

·       The law betrays us when we see shades of injustice within a black and white standard.

·       Our plans betray us when what we thought would work does not succeed.

·       Our idols betray us when we seek comfort and find unrest and discontentment.

·       Every place where we have experienced betrayal takes away our innocence and “blind” trust as naive children.

INSERT BETRAYAL RHEMA FROM 2004

RHEMA 3/06/04  EVEN SO, IRREVOCABLE LOVE

I wrote the bones of Irrevocable love last night and had to quit because I saw no resolution.  I said to the Lord that if He wanted me to finish it, He would have to add to it.

Rom 11:29-30  NKJV

For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

HEARD:  In answer to your prayers. Resolution.

PIX:  I saw a leech like creature come to the surface of someone.

HEARD:  Root of bitterness.

HEARD:  Some will betray Me.  Some will compromise and some will be faithful all the way. Even so.

QUICKENED MEMORY:  At the moment of hearing “even so,” the Holy Spirit brought the disciples to my memory. Judas the betrayer was chosen by Jesus to be among the disciples, Peter denied Him 3 times and John the beloved served Him faithfully all the way.

HEARD: It’s been that way from the beginning.

QUICKENED MEMORY:  I received a flash revelation of when satan betrayed Him, then when the angels compromised and married with the sons of men.

Isa 14:12-15 NKJV

"How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.' Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit.

Gen 6:1-7 NKJV

Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose.  And the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years." There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

He had imparted a tiny portion of His heart.  I was very sad and sobered to know that the Father continues to be betrayed, and that His goodness and holy attributes continue to be compromised  and misaligned.  Those few that are faithful... He calls friends.

I was brought to tears to understand what it means to His own heart when we serve Him out of volunteer love.  As I was hit by this truth, I heard Him whisper, My friend…

HEARD:  My friend.

WORD TO PONDER:  MY FRIENDS  3/06/04

Some will betray Me.  Some will compromise and some will be faithful all the way.  Yes My love, it has been that way since the beginning...

And even when I already knew the outcomes, I chose to love.  And even so it is the same with My gifts and callings.  They are irrevocable…

Yes precious one, now you know.  I have given you a glimpse into Mine own heart.  How I long for friends, just like you do!  How I long to be one with those, just as you call them. - kindred hearts.  How it melts My heart when I see them suffer because they love Me and continue to choose to love Me no matter what.  I AM all powerful, all knowing and always present.  I always was and always will be.  And yet only you can give Me volunteer love.  And now you know.  How I feel.

John 15:13  NKJV

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

{END 2004 RHEMA}

=======

CONTINUED:  Why would He mention betrayal?  Because this is the last of a 10 year season (1999-2009) and He is wanting to move us onto a higher level of experience, intimacy and faith in Him.

Broken innocence can produce knowledge, understanding and wisdom.  It can make us desperate and drive us to God where we cry, “Lord I believe!  Help me in my unbelief!”

Why would God mention betrayal?  Betrayal is something that cuts so deep that we usually cover it over.  But God knows every place where we wince and instinctively close our eyes.   When God brushes close to a memory in the past (especially the last 10 years) , it is not because He is going over old ground to test in areas of presumption & mindsets, motives of soul & flesh, or our levels of distraction & focus.

What He is circling now are resolutions to old patterns, so their doubts are not brought with us into the new season of sight.  We don’t realize how our response to past betrayals affects our level and ability to really trust God and trust Him in those He brings into our lives.  We don’t realize that in places where we have experienced betrayal, it affects our ability to truly hear, see and especially receive what God is saying.

This next year, 2010 is the year of the eye.  Every area where we have experienced betrayal, we need to bring back to Him and let Him wash it so that He can take us to the next level of sight.  It is time to earnestly pray that He open our eyes to see, that He take off the blinders and let us see.  Our sight must have the foundation of trust that He is our Good God and brings everything together for our good.

Rom 5:1-5 NKJV

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; 4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 Now hope does not disappoint , because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
