PIX:  I saw something like a skin being peeled, as though off a fruit.

HEARD:  I will comfort you.  You landed on your feet.  Just one more time.

QUOTE JOYCE MEYERS:  If a horse has been dead for 10 years, dismount.  Go find another horse.

{Every time I read that, it still makes me laugh!  Joy truly comes after mourning.  The secret is learning to finally let go according to God’s will.}

PARABLE:  Tonight I was watching a special on how they made tree poles.  They put them into a giant tumbler with other tumbling trees, tossing and turning them.  When they rub next to one another, their bark is stripped away.  The other night I watched a similar action on how they strip potatoes of their skins.  They were tossing and turning in a giant tumbler.   In seeing the same action on 2 different TV specials, so close together I knew this was a quickened Word from the Lord.  Sometimes He intentionally puts us with people who “rub” us wrong and communications are difficult.  God uses the process to strip our old skin off, to make room for His new skin.

Prov 27:14-17 NKJV

He who blesses his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, It will be counted a curse to him.  A continual dripping on a very rainy day  and a contentious woman are alike;  Whoever restrains her restrains the wind, and grasps oil with his right hand.   As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

Matt 9:17  NKJV

Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins , or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins , and both are preserved."

Precious there comes a time when the old skin no longer fits.  If your fruit was to grow any larger, it would bust the old skin and it would not be able to contain it.  Shed the old life and bring only what is necessary and eternal with you.

Yes it hurts to peel away the old self and it leaves you feeling naked and raw.  But I have comforted you and brought you through this.  You will land on your feet once again.  I have given you My kingdom keys with authority.  Use your daily portion as your allowance to spend.

Mark 2:21-22 NKJV

No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; or else the new piece pulls away from the old, and the tear is made worse.  And no one puts new wine into old wineskins ; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins , the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins ."
