NOW IS THE TIME

On Christmas morning, I heard the Lord whisper to me, "You can ask Me for whatever you want." I lay there content in His arms having already been given what I really wanted and thanked Him for it. But God knows our wishes deeper than our own perceptions. After 21 years of hearing promises and experiencing delays, He was about to set me free.

We opened our gifts that morning, and as I held the little box that Anna gave me, there was a beautiful bracelet watch. She immediately said, "And the Word of the Lord is, NOW IS THE TIME." It struck me so strongly that I looked at the time. I was surprised to see that the minute hand was moving. I looked closer and the clock said 2:22. WOW.

The Lord has spoken to me over and over again through the numbers 222. In the Greek, the Strong's number for Alexander is 222, which is the root word of my name. The Lord had previously given me a promise that whenever I saw the numbers 222, whatever I asked of Him, He would grant.

As I remembered all of this, I realized the incredible timing this took to plan a meal for 12, open gifts and open the watch at that exact moment with the second hand ticking. It was literally a 60 second window of time set on that watch, to have opened it and looked at the time and have her declare, "NOW IS THE TIME!" WOW.

As I pondered before the Lord what Word He would say in regards to Now is the Time, the following came into my heart. Dear ones, you can ask for whatever you want. For whom would you make your request?

FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS 3/2/99

Behind closed doors I prepared you. I carefully allotted you hidden assignments, ones that would build courage and valor. - Assignments that built faith against the odds. I raised you to be gracious in your manner and I gave you My greatest favor. Even so, who would have guessed that in your veins flows the blood of royalty? Who would have guessed I would have chosen you for such an hour? For behind closed doors, you were anointed. Behind closed doors, you were prepared. In secret, I raised an intercessor, a deliverer. The measure of your authority, your vote, has been kept secret even from you.

The enemy has secretly plotted to kill and destroy and annihilate. I have exposed his plans just in time that you may take your rightful place. Rise to the occasion, queen daughter. For I have given you the anointing of Queen Esther. Come forth My beloved and speak to the King. I have given you the power and the authority to intercede on behalf of the many who can not speak for themselves. I have strategically placed you in My kingdom for such a time as this. Have courage, speak forth My Words. Be strong, be valiant and fight for those who can not fight. Be My deliverer and put a stop to this enemy plan.

I stretch out My scepter to you. Step forward into your place. What is your request? I will give it to you. Speak and hold nothing back. What is your petition My queen?

"Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given Me at my petition, and my people at my request: For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed, to be slain, and to perish. But if we had been sold for bondmen and bondwomen, I had held my tongue, although the enemy could not countervail the king's damage." (Esther 7:3-4)
