WORD TO PONDER:  LONE RANGER  12/04/10

Beloved one, you may feel alone and without backup in guarding your territory.  But I say that though others fall around you, the storm of the wicked one shall not come near you.  How?  By abiding in the secret place.  That place is isolated and distant from the wild ways of the world.  Like a lone ranger, far away, it is like having a private cabin nestled in the woods.  The noise of the world and its calamity is distant as you secret yourself in Me.  I AM your refuge and when you come into that still place, I AM there to give you peace.  I always prepare you and build your faith to be ready should the grizzly bear of fear knock on your door.  You have the weapon of a mighty man, merely through your peace in Me and the authority I have given you to rebuke the enemy in My Name.  Find your dwelling place, dear heart, for I have a place prepared for you.

Ps 91:5-8 NKJV

You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,   Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.  A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.  Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.
