HEARDBeing responsible.  Tell me how you do it.  I am here to help you.

[I was the following tonight after hearing the above this AM.  I felt it was relevant.]

ďI found out that if you donít take care of yourself you are not able to take care of anybody else.  Itís very simple.  I found out something very valuable to me.  I can not give away what I donít have.  If I donít love myself, I canít love you.  If I am not peaceful I canít bring peace into your life.  If I have no joy, how can I give you joy?  If I have no strength and no energy and Iím sick half the time and feel bad, how am I going to feel like praying for you, ministering to you, helping you, or even being nice to you?  ...  You have to spend some time loving yourself.  And that doesnít mean to be in love with yourself.  It means to respect yourself enough to take care of yourself.

I take care of myself.  Youíd better be happy that I do, because I wouldnít be here doing what I am doing tonight, I wouldnít be running all around the world at my age.  I would not.  I would be somewhere finished because I would have burned out a long, long time ago.  I take the time to exercise.  I make an effort to eat right.  I take care of my skin.  I do things to keep myself in a way that I believe brings glory to God and it will keep me strong and healthy.Ē

Leviticus 19:18  NKJV

You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'

Luke 10:27  NKJV

So he answered and said,"'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and 'your neighbor as yourself.'"

Romans 13:9  NKJV

For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery," "You shall not murder," "You shall not steal," "You shall not bear false witness," "You shall not covet," and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

Galatians 5:14 NKJV

For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself."

James 2:8 NKJV

If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well.
