RHEMA 2/5/02 INVESTING INTO ANOTHER GENERATION

HEARD: Very clear. PonderWord. It’s all so easy, just rest. To and fro. His additional friend plan. People need to come together more often. Harvesting rhema. Sandy, bless your heart. I haven’t told you, but we don’t need this. But I do. Yes, I do too. We want it. She took the long way around. We’re glad you did. That’s why we love you so much. You think of us. Future, it’s a road. How we hear, and then some. You teach us how to listen. How to interpret. Balancing act. It’s quite a project. Rhema. So why am I so insecure? Laugh. Hesitant bull. Forerunner. A lot of dots. Connect them. You learned how to do it. Journey. She wants us to learn how. Kingdom fun.

TIMELY CONFIRMATION: In the middle of the night I was worried that I had not been hearing Him, yet staying awake for hours for no purpose. I have spent so many years hearing Him at night that I am used to waking up to hear and when I do not, I need to sleep and I was feeling insecure. I suddenly had the feeling that I was being left behind and all the prophetic were busy taking trips to the throne room and hearing Him, and I was laying there wide awake with nothing.

I thought of Rick’s vision of those who stayed behind on the Mt and did not climb, in order to help those who were climbing the same mountain and needed a helping hand up to another level. I wondered if I would be doing past rhema forever. I spend most of my time journaling and keeping a record. I wondered if I was ever going to get done. I felt that I was staying behind to teach and raise up others and it gave me a sense of pain, and yet that is exactly what I want to do and have the heart to do. It is my passion. I was finally so disturbed I got out of bed in the middle of the night to read emails and work more on past rhema. This is what came across on the email!!! It is a portion of John Paul’s newsletter:

STREAMS: What is the BEST way for someone to enter into the secret place?

GRAHAM COOKE: By not leaving it! Don't live in your circumstances! Live in Jesus. Stop trying to get to someplace with God. Learn to recognize that, in Christ, you are already there! Learn how to rest in the Spirit. Rest gives us access. Step back into the inner man of the spirit and work at being peaceful. Live in Hebrews 4:1-11.

STREAMS: Do you journal? How do you record your dreams, visions and various experiences with God?

GRAHAM COOKE: For several weeks, I usually write on scraps of paper. Then, I have a writing day of meditation when I update my various journals. Deciding which truth goes in what journal is sometimes quite interesting. All my talks begin from one of my journals. So having writing days is important for me.

EXPERIENCE: I was just amazed at reading this and seeing how it fit my heart’s need just minutes prior. I started to get sleepy after working a few minutes on harvesting the rhema, and I heard the Lord say He wanted me to go back to bed as He had something to say. So I went back to bed.

HEARD: I’m so slow. Forerunner. Invested in me.

PIX: I saw a pair of men’s gloves that someone had grasped in their hand tightly. It was meant for their size hand.

This reminded me of the Word to Ponder from the past:

WORD TO PONDER:  DESTINY 2/12/98

The destiny I have prepared for you is like a glove, tailor made. You worry and fret over My promises, wondering how it will all come together. What you have not seen is that I have been preparing every nuance and every fiber. I AM using every situation in your life to help shape you for your destiny.

Do not look at the callings and destinies of others. For theirs, like yours, are meant only for them. Do not compete, do not force their shoe to fit your foot. You may push and cram, but in the end the shoe will not fit and you will be sorry you tried. If you do manage to wear their shoe, you will only get blisters in the trying.

Relax and let Me do My perfect work in your life. Have patience that I AM tailoring a shoe that is meant just for you. I look forward to the day when you, with delight in your eyes, see how it all comes together fitting you perfectly. Tailor made, just for you.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (NKJ Jeremiah 29:11)

HEARD: My Words to you. You will ask what you will. Glorify My Son in all the earth.

“If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” (John 15:7 KJV)

PIX: I saw a bunch of pieces of paper that were cut like little cards.

HEARD: Some of these I have and some of these I don’t have. Why haven’t they listened Lord? At my feet. Atta girl. You’ll do the stuff, I promise you. Trumpet. Blow it. Where it’s been and where it’s going.

CONFIRMATION: In going back over old rhema, I came across this one today and it sure ministered to me. And in re-reading it after this day’s rhema, it fits. Even the part about bringing back the sandal and connecting it with the above Word to Ponder: “do not force their shoe to fit your foot. You may push and cram, but in the end the shoe will not fit and you will be sorry you tried. If you do manage to wear their shoe, you will only get blisters in the trying.”

WORD TO PONDER 2/5/02 BUILDING A FUTURE AND A HOPE

Sometimes you think you are spinning your wheels harvesting My Words and preparing them for another generation. I promise you that they will want and need My Words through you, and your time and effort are well worth it. You are investing your life into these My sons, and the journey set before them is tailor made like a glove to a hand.

So rest now My love and relax knowing you are doing exactly what I have called you to do. And I promise you that you shall not be left behind. I promise you that you shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. I promise you that you shall release My power and virtue to many, and that you shall be fully satisfied with the fulfillment of all your hopes and dreams of My glory in end time ministry. For I know the plans that I have for you and they are to give you a future and a hope. No good thing will I withhold from them that walk uprightly. My love, I am so please with you. Rest now in My love and put the trumpet to your mouth. Blow it loud and blow it clear. Tell them where you’ve been and where they are going.

HEARD: Protect you. Hidden. Went through an open door. Word. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among them. Oh mountain. We can’t deal with a rushed heart.

WORD TO PONDER 2/6/02 MY LIVING SERMON

I have called you to be a living sermon. For I know the hearts of mankind and they would rather see a sermon than to hear one. I became the Word of God in flesh and I dwelt among My people. Even so I send you. Did I not say you are My living epistle, which is written upon the table of your heart? As you live out My Word from your heart, you too follow in My footsteps.

“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14 KJV)

“You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; 3 clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.” (2 Cor 3:2-3 NKJV)
