LIFE IN MY BLOOD
Today I was taking communion at home, in remembrance of
a vision the Lord gave me in the early 80’s. In that
vision I was carrying a small boy who was suffering
terrible body pain. I carried him up the communion
table and gave him the tiny cup of grape juice
signifying the cup that Jesus swallowed, which was to
shed His blood for the sins of mankind. The boy was
healed by swallowing Jesus’ cup, in remembrance of His
shed blood.
WORD TO PONDER: LIFE IN MY BLOOD 5/25/08
Unless you drink of My blood, you have no life in you.
My blood was shed so that you may be washed, purified
and forgiven. My blood was spilled to take the
punishment of your sins. As you take My cup at
communion remember these things. I gave My life for
you, so that You may have abundant life in Me.
John 6:53-58 NKJV
Then Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to
you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and
drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever
eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and
I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is
food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who
eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in
him. 57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live
because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live
because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down
from heaven — not as your fathers ate the manna, and are
dead. He who eats this bread will live forever."
Mark 14:23-25 NKJV
Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He
gave it to them, and they all drank from it. 24 And He
said to them, "This is My blood of the new covenant,
which is shed for many.
Heb 9:20-22 NKJV
This is the blood of the covenant which God has
commanded you." 21 Then likewise he sprinkled with
blood both the tabernacle and all the vessels of the
ministry. 22 And according to the law almost all things
are purified with blood , and without shedding of blood
there is no remission.
Rom 3:25 NLT
For God sent Jesus to take the punishment for our
sins and to satisfy God's anger against us. We are made
right with God when we believe that Jesus shed his
blood, sacrificing his life for us.
Rev 1:5-6 NKJV
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in
His own blood, 6 and has made us kings and priests to
His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever
and ever. Amen.
Col 1:20 NLT
... and by him God reconciled everything to himself.
He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by
means of his blood on the cross.
Eph 5:26-27
that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the
washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present
her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or
wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy
and without blemish.
Rev 7:14-15
These are the ones who come out of the great
tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white
in the blood of the Lamb. |
