HUMILITY:  PARABLE DRESSED IN BROWN  11/15/11

Rick Joyner says that wearing brown represents the garment of humility. Today I noticed I had brown pants and nothing to wear for winter that was brown tops to go with the pants, so I used a gift cert I had and brought 5 brown tops to go with the pants, and they were all on sale for 70% off.  I also bought a new brown runner carpet to go down our 3 steps into the game room.

UPDATE CONFIRMATION:  My grandson noticed the new runner carpet we have on the stair steps.  It is brown which is the opposite of the red carpet.  This carpet going down the steps was quickened to me that it is a time of humbling ourselves and laying low and not expecting to be honored among those who are too familiar with our weaknesses and humanity.  These have been iron sharpens iron type relationships and dueling in the flesh has not been productive.  As we humble ourselves in prayer to lovingly reach those who do not listen to the Word of the Lord through us, He will answer the yearnings of our hearts in due time.

Matt 13:57-58 NKJV

But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house."  Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

1 Peter 5:5-7 NKJV

Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud,

But gives grace to the humble." Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.

PIX:  I saw Iron Chef Cat Cora and she was down on the floor on her knees.  She had a huge sword fish in her hands, holding it out like a sword.

HEARD:  On your knees for prayer.  Humility.  An answer to prayer.

RHEMA 11/29/11:  BROWN PAPER BAG LUNCH

pix:  I was asking someone if they had any brown paper bags, the small size for snacks on the go.

CONFIRMATION:  When I woke I decided to change purses to my brown one and was shocked to find a bunch of paper bags folded nice and neatly inside.  It has been a few years since I used that purse.
