HEARD:  Those that walk with Me and are My friends.  Value.  Those that wait upon Me. 

TO WAIT UPON HIM

MY FRIENDS LISTEN 4/09/05

A man is known by the Words he keeps.  This is a hard truth dear ones, but understand the meaning.  My friends listen to My Words and treasure them.  He who hears and heeds you, My servant, also hears and heeds Me.  If he treasures My Word, his heart is with Me.  If he treasures your Words as being My servant, his heart is also with you. By this My friends are being increasingly known and manifested to each other. You shall know them and they shall know you.  There will come a day when you will choose your friends as I do.

Luke 10:16 AMP

He who hears and heeds you [disciples] hears and heeds Me; and he who slights and rejects you slights and rejects Me; and he who slights and rejects Me slights and rejects Him who sent Me.

John 15:20-21 NKJV

Remember the word that I said to you,'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.

John 14:23-24 NKJV

Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.

WHEN HE COMES WILL HE FIND FAITH?

As His friends, we are actively waiting upon the Lord every day to see and hear what He is saying and doing.  When He comes to us after our waiting for and upon Him, will He find faith?  Part of our faith is learning to be persistent and not give up in our waiting upon Him to hear and see.

Luke 18:6-8

Then the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge said.  7 And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them?  8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?"

Luke 11:5-11

And He said to them, "Which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at midnight and say to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves;  6 for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him';  7 and he will answer from within and say, 'Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give to you'?  8 I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs. 9 "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  10 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

LAYING DOWN OUR LIVES TO WAIT FOR HIM

We lay down our lives to become Him Friend.

John 15:13-16

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.  14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.  15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 

MY FRIENDS  3/06/04

Some will betray Me.  Some will compromise and some will be faithful all the way.  Yes My love, it has been that way since the beginning...

And even when I already knew the outcomes, I chose to love.  And even so it is the same with My gifts and callings.  They are irrevocable…

Yes precious one, now you know.  I have given you a glimpse into Mine own heart.  How I long for friends, just like you do!  How I long to be one of those, just as you call them. - kindred hearts.  How it melts My heart when I see them suffer because they love Me and continue to choose to love Me no matter what.  I AM all powerful, all knowing and always present.  I always was and always will be.  And yet only you can give Me volunteer love.  And now you know.  How I feel.

RENOUNCING FRIENDSHIP WITH THE WORLD TO BECOME HIS FRIEND

We need to understand that 2 worlds collide from opposite poles.  These are the spirit of the world and the kingdom of heaven.  To be His friend we must choose His world and not the spirit of the world.

James 4:4-5

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"?

WHAT IS IMPERATIVE 10/29/98

The prince of destruction has been loosed upon the world.  It is imperative  that you keep this door of death closed in your own life.  Remember that friendship with the world is an enemy with Me and such cannot be My friend.  The power of worldly entertainment will continually knock upon the door of your heart until you are dead to its lusts.  When you make the commitment to keep the door closed to its luring passions, I will place very strong warrior angels to surround you and literally ram the forces of hell on your behalf to keep you safe.  When you toy with the world and defile your conscience, it allows a breech in your hedge.  Demonic forces look for any opportunity to infiltrate through rebellion.  Your willful sin binds My angels ability to war on your behalf.  It is imperative that you learn to keep the door closed to the world.

“Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. If your sinful nature controls your mind, there is death. But if the Holy Spirit controls your mind, there is life and peace. For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God's laws, and it never will. That's why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.”  (Rom 8:5-8 NLT)
