RHEMA 2/28/00: HEALING AND DELIVERANCE THROUGH MELTING THE LAYERS

HEARD: God has answered my prayers. Every last one. You don't see the heart of the matter. I am soaking the layers. The crux of the matter. Wound. Bind it up.

REOCCURRING DREAM: SOAKING PRAYERS FOR HEALING

I had the same dream several times last night where we were praying over a loved one for his healing. We were asking the Lord to touch him more. I had the impression that these were soaking prayers of just asking for His Presence to melt through his layers and increase his capacity to receive, like stretching a wine skin to hold more.

WORD TO PONDER SOAKING PRAYERS 2/28/00

There are those whose wine skins need to be stretched so that their capacity to receive is enlarges. For these, I want them to be soaked in prayer. I have many layers yet to touch in their lives, for they are coated with many layers that have held Me at arms length. This is due to childhood pain, and they are not even aware of how deep it goes, or how much it has harnessed their growth. I want to fill them full up and overflowing, but before that happens, they need to be stretched to receive more of Me in smaller increments.

“And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. The old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine must be stored in new wineskins. That way both the wine and the wineskins are preserved." (Matt 9:17 NLT)

LOVED ONES SOAKED IN PRAYER 6/15/99

I hear your heart. I know you suffer for your loved ones who do not choose to trust Me. I would gladly clothe them with My power and authority, yet they walk away and refuse. I understand your pain. It is only a small portion of what I feel.

Turn your pain and hopelessness into soaking prayers. Pray that My Holy Spirit will come and soak away their layers. Their thick skin, their hardened hearts have layers upon layers covering and blinding them from their true need for Me. If they saw through the layers, they would gladly come to Me. Pray that My Presence shall seep through their thickened walls, peeling away their layers, melting their very souls with My love. My love can melt away the thickest layers of darkness. Only pray.

“For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day.” ( 2 Tim 1:12 (NKJ)

RHEMA 3/28/00: UNTHAWING LAYERS IN THE FROZEN MAN

HEARD: Bells in the Holy Place. I can't.

PIX: I saw someone starting to walk in, but they were dragging their feet.

HEARD: Sweat. Sacrifice. Sinner. Alone. Bible, that's not enough. Blood. Offering. By fire. It's all I know. Pack my bags. No bags. He did so much. Brace yourself. It started while you fell asleep.

PIX: I saw a hairdryer.

HEARD: You're the man. Freedom. One layer at a time. Melt. Thaw. Preserved. Heat. Slowly. Weathered the storm.

COMMENTS: The above rhema is speaking about those who went through a great snow storm and fell asleep and the Lord is going to heat them up a layer at a time and bring them back to life.

I had watched a documentary on raising the Mammoth. It was a real tape of some archeologists who traveled far north and cut out an entire frozen Mammoth. It was a fascinating show. They managed to dig it out in one giant ice cube and moved it to an underground cave near an airport. They will be working for about a year to unthaw the ice around it, via 12 hairdryers suspended from the ceiling. When they got to its hair in one area, they could smell the stench of animal smell, along with urine and feces. I was amazing to have been so preserved through thousands of years.

Ezek 36:25-28 NKJV

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. 28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.

RHEMA 10/19/00 DELIVERANCE VIA LAYERS

HEARD: Productivity. That which is born of the Spirit will stand. The rest will wash away. Weed self. Wound. Isolate the cause.

HEARD: I think that what God is saying, is that my perspective is off. Seek ye first the kingdom and then these shall be added.

INTERP: When finding inner healing the tools of counsel, indentifying old wounds and root causes are all good. Dealing with unforgiveness is good. But to keep one's focus on the past and on self does not deliver. God heals and delivers, so keep the right perspective and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you through the steps. Deliverance does come in layers, just like the layers on an onion. The bottom line is not to use a formula for healing, but rather ask the Holy Spirit to reveal wounds and heal their source.

Search me [thoroughly], O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there is any wicked or hurtful way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

RHEMA 7/12/97 DELIVERANCE LAYERS

During a conference, I was going down the hallway to the bathroom and saw a group of people ministering to someone who was loudly sobbing on the floor. I knew that this person was experiencing a demonic manifestation and was running from the Presence of the Lord.

Knowing that she knew me, I kneeled down with her and interrupted her crying, and said, “Do you trust me?” She nodded yes. I said, “You need to pick yourself up and go back into that room and be in the Presence of God.” A demon responded back through her voice, although I had no idea what was said. I spoke to her and not the demon and said that if she could not get up by herself, we would help her and take her in there because we loved her very much and she needed to be in the Presence of the Lord and not be hiding from it. The demon did not like that in the least. When we helped her to the door of the threshold of the sanctuary, she stopped right at the line, and would not step over. It took some coaxing, but we managed to take her to the very back corner of the large room. There was loud worship music going on, and hands on ministry taking place all over. The Presence of the Lord was strong and it was the perfect atmosphere for her to receive His work.

Myself and 2 other people sat with her, praying in tongues. She eventually went berserk and fell to the floor. She sobbed, heaved, screamed, and squirmed, and we prayed in tongues all the more diligently. She went through waves of this between quiet times.

I heard the Lord say, “Deep cleansing.” Then I watched it happen again as in waves, of sobbing, screaming, then release with quiet following. Then I heard the Lord say, “Layers.” As she was sobbing I leaned over and told her these things, and what was happening to her was a good thing and that the Lord was doing His cleansing work of many layers of past years in her life.

I learned quite a lot about the deliverance process as this was a supernatural experience totally orchestrated by the Holy Spirit, as all we were doing was praying in tongues while laying hands on her. I felt a strong oneness with the Holy Spirit's work while it was occurring. Each time just prior to her breaking her quiet I would begin to feel a pressure build in my Spirit. I would lean down and start praying very strongly and loudly in tongues as the Holy Spirit gave me unction.. Then as the demon left, I would feel that pressure instantly go away within my own Spirit. OH THE PEACE AND RELIEF OF IT! This happened many times. The peace after each layer was quite something.

Even though my flesh was fighting the whole process and I wanted it “DONE” I loved her enough and recognized the Holy Spirit enough to stay with it. This process of de-layering deliverance went on for a long time and I began to get weary as it was late and I was really tired and it was also hard to sit on the floor all that time. I silently asked the Lord with each layer, “Please let this be the last one!” yet I had so much compassion for her. Finally I decided on my own (!) this was the last layer as she had calmed down for a time. I heard the Lord say in response to my independent thought, “Trust Me.” No sooner did I hear that, then she began again. This one ended up the last for that night. When the layer left, I knew it was Abandonment.

It was interesting that the first coherent thing she said after it was all done related to abandonment. She said, “Thank you for staying with me and not leaving me! I was afraid you would leave before it was finished.” Boy am I glad the Lord interrupted my independence and kept me there to complete His work. It was a good lesson.

WAYNE'S DREAM 3/6/99: NO ICE RESULTS IN PROMOTION

The enemy had come into our apartment and demanded our ice. (Frozen territory under the enemy's domain.) We had just moved in (promotion) and had no ice. They were restrained and left.

John 14:30-31 NKJV

I will no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me .

WORD TO PONDER MELTING COLD HEARTS 3/6/99

I am in the process of unthawing My people from a lengthy frozen over and cold state. Many hearts are yet wrapped in ice, feeling cold and abandoned. But I hear their cries for help, and am sending My Presence to warm their many layers. I will melt them one by one and bring a great thaw to their land frozen over by a demonic climate.

You will notice that as you give your hearts to Me and I bring you out of the long, cold winters sleep, that you will find protection from the enemy. Intruders may knock on your door, but if you have no ice, they have nothing in you. They are unable to touch you or have anything in which to claim as their own. So allow My unthawing work to melt your heart with My everlasting love. Above all else, love Me and love others. Let My mercy and forgiveness do its work.

“Then he lay down on the child's body, placing his mouth on the child's mouth, his eyes on the child's eyes, and his hands on the child's hands. And the child's body began to grow warm again!” (2 Kings 4:34-35 NLT)

TO WEEP AGAIN 4/07/04

I am melting the hearts of My shepherds one layer at a time. So many have grown numb from years of suffering over the pain of those they care for. Out of mere survival mode, the hearts of these dear shepherds have turned deep inside in an effort to find a warm place, safe from the blizzards of disappointment. They too are in deep need of tender loving care and who will be there to warm their hearts? I have heard their prayers and will bring them back to life. I have wept tears in their stead, for their fountains stopped their flow and their tears dried up. I have felt the pain they no longer feel. The numbness that surrounds their very existence shall become warm to My loving touch. I will pursue these shepherds until their final facade melts away and their hearts have grown tender once again. When they feel the thaw, their tears will flow once again and I will stop at nothing to hold them in My arms of love…. these, the shepherds of My heart.

Ezek 11:18-21 NKJV

Then I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

CREATED FOR RELATIONSHIP 4/19/04

Like the radiant sun on a cold day, I have been silently shining My face upon you. You have often wondered why I would touch you in such a way. This has been My love language melting your mask. Yes I know your pain, dear son. You may have hidden it from yourself, but you have not hidden it from Me.

I created you for relationship. I planted this need so deep that even you do not understand its depth. The enemy has known this, and has plotted to steal relationship from you. His plot has been to so thwart these blessings that you would feel alone and isolated even among a full house or a crowd.

You have suffered the bitter coldness of thwarted expectations. Trying so hard, longing to be loved for who you are, and proving yourself worthy for the fellowship that you were created to have… Life has not gone the way you hoped or planned. You have also faced the gripping truth of a masked world full of facades: those who would extend their hand, when they only want what is in yours. This final blow sent you into an isolation of soul whose only safe place was barricaded with ice. How well I know and understand your attempts to numb yourself from these things.

I too know this pain. I have suffered this in heaven and on earth - My very creation seeking My face for what I can give them, not for Who I AM. Their love for their Father stands second to their lust for power, dominion and pleasure. They put all aside to pursue their kingdoms, yet they do not understand there is nothing more important in all of heaven or on earth … than relationship.

Yes, I have been mostly silent as I have warmed your layers. Your numbness has even kept Me at bay, even though that has not been your desire. I brought you through this time, dear one, and now you know My heart more because of it. I have wanted loving fellowship just like you. And I want you. Yes, dear one it's over, and your ice has melted. You are adopted and chosen as My own. You belong to Me.
