RHEMA 1/20/08  intercessors:  PAYING A GREAT PRICE  TO KEEP our children safe

HEARD:  I pray you see the history.  It’s an extreme effort to have carried you this far and to still believe. And you still believe.  That’s My intercessors, they wont give up unless I tell them to.

HEARD:  Private Ryan.  Brave men and women.  There is another world out there.  Keeping them. Kids safe.

They carried you. You are not forsaken.  Adopted.  Comfort and keep, a wall of fire. Help find the joy in another world.  Fellowship.

Saving Private Ryan

SNIP ITS From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Saving Private Ryan is a 1998 Academy-Award-winning film set during the D-day invasion of Normandy in World War II, directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Robert Rodat.

This film is particularly notable for the intensity of its opening 24 minutes, which depict the Omaha beachhead assault of June 6, 1944. Thereafter it presents a fictional search for a paratrooper of the U.S. 101st Airborne Division. While this part of the plot is a work of fiction, the premise is very loosely based on the real-life case of the Niland Brothers.

In the United States, Gen. George C. Marshall, discovers that three of the four brothers of the Ryan family have all died within days of each other and that their mother will receive all three notices on the same day. He learns that the fourth son, Private First Class James Francis Ryan (Matt Damon) of the 1st Battalion 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment is missing in action somewhere in France. He orders that he be found and sent home immediately.

Captain Miller informs Ryan of his brothers' deaths and of their mission to bring him home. Ryan adamantly refuses to leave his makeshift unit, demanding that he remain to help defend the bridge against an impending German counter-attack. Miller reluctantly agrees and orders his unit to help defend the bridge in the upcoming battle, taking command and setting up the defense with what little manpower they have.

Ryan is with Captain Miller as he dies and hears his last words, "James... earn this. Earn it."  Back in the present, the elderly veteran is revealed to be Ryan and the grave Miller's. Ryan asks his wife to confirm that he has been a 'good man' and thus worthy of Miller's and the other's sacrifice as the camera pans down the gravestones to the American flag and fades out.

DISCLAIMER FROM SANDY: The mentioning of any movie in this post is not a recommendation or promotion. The ministry of The Quickened Word does not promote going to movies and tv as receiving the pure Word of the Lord. However God speaks through anything in the world to get people's attentions, including stories, no matter how much mixture. It is up the mature listener to take the good and spit out the bones of every story in life. Sandy tries very hard to follow scripture in not "fellowshipping" with carnal language, sexual suggestion, and other material promoting drugs, fear, violence, magic, or any other thing that is not edifying.

As to this movie Saving Private Ryan, it is probably very violent and bloody since it is about war. I personally do not think viewing violence and bloodshed as a form of entertainment is a righteous choice. However I do believe there are movies that give honor to those whom have spent their lives heroically on behalf of others and I am grateful that we have the media to be able to remember their stories and give honor to whom honor is due. Viewing the lives of brave people who have integrity and moral fiber are part of building the backbone of our future leaders.

LOST 3 SONS  1/14/08

Hi Sandy, I am one of the many, no doubt, who silently receive your faithful messages and appreciate them but never let you know what a blessing they are! Well, today you have sent a wonderful word of comfort as my husband & I have been going through a very difficult time in our lives.

On Nov 7th my husband was admitted to hospital for an emergency tracheotomy (incision in the throat) to allow him to breathe.

Since that time we have experienced further tragedy with the (freak) accidental death of our 4th son aged 36 on Dec 31. This is a big enough tragedy for any family to live through but it is compounded by the earlier death of our 3rd son at age 24 in 1995 also in a (freak) accident. Also the 'cot death' of our youngest son in 2000.

It has been said that there are no 'accidents' in God's plan for us and we do believe that our loving heavenly Father never gives us more than we are able to bear so His plan must be a good one, it's just hard to see from the 'underside' of the tapestry.  Thank you once again for your consistent encouragement.

Blessings in Jesus' Name,

{Name}

GRIEVING THOSE WHO WATCH OVER YOUR SOULS

RHEMA 1/16/08  SORROW OVER INDEPENDENT SONS

HEARD:  You want what?  To be set free.  You were carried.  Every day.  Independent sons.

Intercessors, gentle as a dove.  Cold.  I will lift your pain and ease your sorrow.  Stick with Me and I will see you through this.  Felled a tree.  Isolate.  Chocked full of hope.  Much rides on their decision to walk away.  Be obedient.

Word to ponder:  THE grieving OF those who pray for you  1/10/08

Beloved ones, learn the lessons of submission as unto Me, the Head of My body.  I have appointed watchman to pray over you and they must give an account for your souls.  Along with spiritual authority, they also bear much weight from burdens over your souls.  They carry you as their very own children.  When you live independently, without accountability in relationship, it causes those who are appointed over you to be in great straits in their souls with heavy sighing and groanings as they feel the grieving of My Spirit for your willful choices.  I will teach you that it will be unprofitable for you to cause them grief.  Turn now, loved ones and replace the grief with joy.

Heb 13:17 NKJV

Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

Heb 13:17 AMP

Obey your spiritual leaders and submit to them {continually recognizing their authority over you}, for they are constantly keeping watch over your souls and guarding your spiritual welfare, as men who will have to render an account {of their trust}. {Do your part to} let them do this with gladness and not with sighing and groaning, for that would not be profitable to you {either}.
