NOTES AND QUOTES BOB JONES: GOODNESS AND SEVERITY OF
GOD

Bob spoke on the goodness and severity of the Lord.
Rom 11:21-23 NKJV
For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may
not spare you either. 22 Therefore consider the goodness
and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but
toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness.
Otherwise you also will be cut off.
SHAKING UNDER THE SEVERITY OF GOD
He said God is going to shake the idols of this nation,
that which is worshipped where He is not the point of
that worship. “He’s a jealous God. This nation is
going to continue to shake until the devil is shaken
right out of it. This nation is not coming down, it’s
going through. It’s not through yet. The shaking shall
continue for another 2 years.” (This conference was
Feb 2011: 2011 & 2012)
“We have a lot of prophesy going out there that is
really negative. With me when something negative is
going to happen, its a warning to avoid it. It isn’t a
judgment, it’s a warning. Our Father loves us to such
an extent that He is not going to let anything come
until He warns you about it. And the severity is not
brought to destroy the church, it is brought to perfect
the church. It’s brought to release the authority to
the church. And the severity is to take the enemy of
the church out. And by taking them out, I mean those
that are going through it, you will be able to lead them
to the Lord. That’s taking them out of the negative.
Decisions, its time that we make quality decisions that
we mean, for the Lord.”
[The timing of this was very precious to me because
Wayne and I had a conversation this morning about my
questions about hearing negative things, and how to
process them. Tonight I saw some conferences that had
been in my recorder quite some time and so I clicked on
one to listen to and it was Bob Jones where he mentioned
the answers.]
CONFIRMATION 3/22/12: Someone sent me graphic
this week and said,
“It is a beautiful perspective of how the fierce love of
God comes not to destroy us, He just wants to LOVE us.
Fellowship with the Almighty. Amazing.”
It was a photo of a polar bear embracing a Alaskan husky
and playing with it. The owner was amazed because he
thought the bear was going to eat him.
THE KINGDOM
“Over 2000 years ago we had the revelation of the
Savior. About 110 years ago we had the revelation of
the Holy Spirit. We are coming to the last revelation
of Who your Daddy is... Abba. And when you know Who
your Daddy is, you know who you are. And when you reach
a level of maturity, your Daddy says I have been waiting
for you to grow up to where I can hand the kingdom over
to you.
The Spirit is saying, Grow up children. Your Daddy
wants to turn you loose.
Gal 4:6-7 NKJV
And because you are sons, God has sent forth the
Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, "Abba,
Father!" Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son,
and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Praise, prayer and prophesy brings in the kingdom. This
is the year the kingdom is coming out of you. And you
need to begin to move according to the kingdom within.
Because this is what He is speaking within and then you
bring it, and proclaim in. i think you are getting
ready to see mature Christians. Sons and daughters with
their Father’s hand on them. And exhibiting Him every
place they go, and glorifying Him.
When your Father stamps approval on your request, it’s
going to happen. But faith has to happen first. And
this is what He is looking for. Faith comes through
faithfulness. You build faith by being faithful.
Believe you receive. Doubt, you do without.”
